Throw a 5.8 Deps bullflat on a size 6 swimbait hook. It's big enough to throw weightless and just jerk it off the bottom. I think you'll like it since you also throw the bellows gill
Hey alton have you ever used a falcon rod by chance? Im needing a new 7foot medium spinning rod in the $100 range and looking at 7ft evo falcon rod...do you have any suggestions for a good sensitive meduim power spinning rod in $100 range? Thanks alton and good luck to you in 2024 tight lines!
I haven’t throw any falcon’s before. I throw strictly Kistlers. If you were looking for a good rod and don’t mind spending over 100 bucks check out their 7ft helium 3. It’s worth the 💰
I’ve collected EXCalibur baits since they stopped making them especially their lipless baits. I added GeeCrack Bellows baits about 5 years ago and of course I have used Spinnerbaits for over 50 years 😮😂😂🍀🎣🍀🤷🏻♂️😜
Maybe with certain soft plastics they fall identical, but the center of gravity on the weight and larger hole (less drag on the line) than a bullet weight, should make them fall slightly different
'Free rig' is made by Korean professional tenement angler (KSA )Sunpil Kim and Free rig got famous after he made record 12120g in 2006. And way after that free rig export to Japan. So it is not JDM, Its KDM
Yessir! I monkey with everything out of the package too. I fish for THSBA and my highschool fishing team. I started a new RUclips channel called linesin to document my tournaments. I would love feedback on how to become a better tournament fisherman. Link is on my banner. Thanks! Fish on!
One of my favorite pros! My Dad met you last year and he said you were the coolest pro he met that day. We’re always pulling for you AJ!
Been binge on your videos this morning. You have gotten really good at these short instructional videos. Lots of good info. Nice job AJ!!

I get a kick out of how people pronounce Chowan 😂. looking forward to seeing how you guys fish it.
Would someone please explain the difference between the free rig and an unpegged Texas rig? In a swimming pool they fall identical.
