What about regular guest stars from the original? Like the Wheelers, maybe Leon (the kid Harry tried adopting), Art, Phil or Will, Buddy, even Christine’s child who was born in the elevator.
Yeah Richard Moll's Bull was also one of the original cast never mentioned. I would have loved to see him return, sadly he passed away last month. RIP Richard Moll.
Even if Richard were still alive, it'd be highly doubtful. What wasn't mentioned in the video was that not only was he done with Night Court, but that he was done with acting in general, and had no desire to return to it. I believe he retired for good around early 2018.
There are a few cast members still living, Karen Austin, from Season 1, who played Lana, and Ellen Foley, who played Billie Young in Season 2, I wish they could bring them back to the show as possibly semi regulars as their characters
Richard Moll, sadly, has also now passed away. People who were young and strong when I was young and strong are not supposed to grow old and die. It is unfortunate that Richard apparently had a bad experience playing Bull. Hopefully, he did enjoy the job but just wanted to avoid typecasting. RIP, Bull.
I like the references to Mac (Charles Robinson 🕊) with Wyatt. Mac always wore sweaters and sweater vests. I noticed Wyatt does the same, with the vest styles similar to Mac's. Wyatt's mannerisms are similar to Mac's as well.
I'll finish watching this after I post my quick thought... So far all the things put forth as maybe not good are exactly why this has been the best reboot/continuation of an old favorite show that I love... The New Frasier is a very close second... Although an episode or 2 were less than I had hoped for, I think it will grow into itself going into its second season... Edit suggestion to Looper, Richerd Moll passed away after this sadly... Only Dan Fielding's character would be remotely aware of Bull so I suspect they have left him out of any mentions for that reason as well as his personal wish not to return in any capacity anyway...
The show ended 31 years ago. Likely, after the events of the series finale is when Harry met Abby's mother. A year later, Abby was born, making her 30. I am sure, though, that the writers would make it like that the events of the series finale were a couple of years more than 31 years ago. I would guess that they would put Abby at 33 or 34 years old. Which works, because Melissa Rauch, although 43, looks like she'd still be in her thirties. So my guess is that Abby is in her early thirties when she became a Judge just like her father was as Harry was in his early thirties when he started as the Judge in Manhattan's Night Court.
i Noticed that Sheila Woman Who Was Also Dans Gf on the Og Night Court Did Not Appear on the Series final of the Of Night court in the Dream Nightmare sequence
I believe Karen Astin who play character Lana Wagner the court clerk in the original pilot and season 1 and 2 episodes still alive recently we've lost Richard Moll who played Bull Shannon the tall bailiff it would be great to bring the character of Lana Wagner back since she is the only original cast member along with John Larroquette character Dan feeling still with us
I don't think season 2 of the new night court will last without Jon Larroquette. He was too predominate in the first season. I did have 1 question about Jon Larroquette, was he an alcoholic? I remember seeing commercials with him talking about alcoholism and then when they made the Jon Larroquette show, his character was that of a recovering alcoholic in charge of a bus depot. I liked this show but was curious to learn if his character in that show was based off his real life. Let me know if anyone out there knows the answer.
The premise of this show is stupid. Judge positions are not hereditary. I understand that's not how she got the job, just saying her character didn't need to be Stone's daughter.
What a stupid horrible show, not funny like the old one, bad scripts, forced acting comedy and bad choice of characters…! Dan Rubin should be sent to prison for doing this show…!
Bring back Brent Spiner and Annie O'Donnell as Bob and June Wheeler!

Unfortunately and sadly, Bull won’t be returning. RIP, my friend.
Will Brent Spiner return in a special guest roll updating his old character ?

I havent seen it, but i love that Pete has his "Badman" suit in one of these clips 😅
Such a great show, then and now! All ❤️
bring back Brent Spiner
Anybody notice Dan's apartment number 504. That's New Orleans area code.

Didn't say anything about Faith Ford as Abby mom. You did have a clip. I did the math and Faith would have been a teenager when Abby was born.
Characters aren't necessarily meant to be the same age as the actors who play them.

I love this reboot.
John will always be known as Dan fielding 😂
I wonder why Richard Moll didn't want to do a reunion or revival?
The best part is that they do not bring up Dan's libidinous past was a smart decision.
R.I.P. Harry💙
Roz was hilarious
Are they going to have a show about Dan Fielding as a judge
This version lacks the 'bite' of the original.
i Noticed that Sheila Woman Who Was Also Dans Gf on the Og Night Court Did Not Appear on the Series final of the Of Night court in the Dream Nightmare sequence
Love this both shows.

I loved original, but this just doesn’t feel right. A character is missing, someone funny
I loved the original and I like Melissa so this has to be good 😊
11:27 No. The answer is no.
A recent promo says its coming back on Jan 2nd 2024.
God almighty, the number of commercials and ads that pop up. ADHD is a myth. Lack of focus and discipline, is real.
sad to say bull wont be back do to richard moll passing away this year.

Molls was truly the best. RIP
When she needs a rock, she leans on him. When she then succeeds, she now sees him as unworthy as a mate.
The show night court was a funny show i remember watching it all the time. Know it still funny to watch the new night court .
Wonder what the going to do with Bulls character since he dead last week
You wont see Richard Moll He has sadly pass away on October 26th 2023 Lost another great actor😥
They didn't have tech investment issues..in the 80S They had insider trading and junk bonds
It's starting
Love the show 😊
Is that the actress from Big Bang Theory?
Yea I believe it’s Melissa Rauch as abbey.
Next week. Jan 2.
Perhaps Buĺl will return as well.
Sadly no
@@playboikp well,I was off by less than a week .Who knew?
what is this? what the heck? I love Night Court! Pete Holmes? WTH?
Love the new Night Court. Just one thing get rid of The DA she's not funny and Randall Park need to play the new Dan Fielding 2.0
I love lucy (rebooted) .... Gilligans island (rebooted) ... The Brady Bunch (rebooted) .... are people REALLY that stupid ??
I didn’t like her in big bang theory and I don’t like her in night court. She just grates me.
I love her 😍
This show is awful. All comedies on On NBC stink.
OMG without the "laugh track" it's FN terrifying
I like this revival of Night Court. And I really enjoyed Young Rock, until NBC abruptly cancelled it recently.
I will probably pass on this one.
They should just fire the striking writers. There are plenty of hungry young talented writers out there they could hire in their place.
The premise of this show is stupid. Judge positions are not hereditary. I understand that's not how she got the job, just saying her character didn't need to be Stone's daughter.
Like governors, mayors, presidents are not hereditary?
Neither of those things are hereditary.@@seth8629
Just switch all writing to chat gpt. It was funnier anyway.
What a stupid horrible show, not funny like the old one, bad scripts, forced acting comedy and bad choice of characters…! Dan Rubin should be sent to prison for doing this show…!
This show sucks
