I was just watching this episode while I’m on video call with my younger brother. My brother said, Genla is a very good teacher and he has lot of patience when teaching (my brother is a monk from Dzongkar Choede and they go to Sera Jey to study scripture lessons). Thq Genla for your kindness🙏🏽💐🌸🌺
Really I am appreciate that Geshy la reply about the science has limited inventions and they are investing new thing and make chemical products, weapons, packages that harm for human and lastly return to know the value of organic ecosystem!!!!
wonderful interview and teaching. i hope someday to know Tibetan like you so i can understand Tibetan monks teaching in Tibetan and understand Tibetan people speaking. may i suggest you do teaching videos choosing some of Geshe’s sentences and explaining all the words. i can get some of the words thanks to your good subtitles but a breakdown of the sentences would be very helpful. as far as i can see you are the only one doing such good teaching of Tibetan on the internet. where i live there is no opportunity to study directly with Tibetan monks or lay people. i so much appreciate your contribution to preservation of Tibetan language, culture and Buddhism
Hi Karma, how are you? I'm a Sera Jey monk and a student of Geshe Gelek. I hope it doesn't bother you that I correct you about what you said in the beggining. Geshe Gelek actually studied around 23 years to get his degree as a Geshe Lharampa. Now in Sera Jey Monastery, in general, is 25 years in total. 19 years to become normal Geshe more 6 years for the Lharampa degree. Thank you for the video
