I think you've done a great job of highlighting the subtle yet persistent initiative the Reti can possess when white knows what he's doing. Awesome video!

In the main line with 9...h6, the strong black players will typically play either 13...Qd6 or 13...Qc7 (and the rest mostly 13...Nfd7). It would have been far more productive to provide analysis here rather than such a deep dive into 13...Ng8, which is almost never seen.
As far as the opening line itself goes, white players aiming for this should understand that...Bf5 is far more common in the d5+c6 set-up and plan accordingly. Similarly, my practical experience was that the reverse benoni line (2...d4) was both more popular and much more challenging to demonstrate a tangible advantage against. In short, it is not a bad opening, and I had good results overall from the 1. Nf3 d5; 2. c4 starting position, but as a white player you have to be incredibly flexible and understand a much wider array of positional types and structures than in almost any other mainstream opening, As such, it is difficult to recommend it to anyone playing chess at a casual level.

Hi GJ. I LOVE your NC6 repertoire for black, it's so interesting. I conversely find (most) white opening ideas to be very boring. I feel like in most openings, black has all the fun and controls the route of the game by blacks response to white - e.g it's the french because black plays e6, it's the modern because black plays g3, it's the nimzowitch because black plays nc6, it's the sicilian because black plays c5, etc. Could you recommend any interesting white openings, in which white appears to control the progression of the game to a greater extent than black?

Looks like it can arise from some sort of English variation
