King Kong has speed, agility, intelligence and is able to fight more like a human. However, Godzilla is far stronger, his atomic breath is a one-shot if Kong doesn't dodge fast enough, and Godzilla is surprisingly intelligent.
Also, in each "era" of Godzilla films, Godzilla always obtained new powers and abilities. He's like comic book Superman.
While I rooted for Kong because I love underdogs, Godzilla will always win the match. But you have to give Kong credit, he can certainly give Godzilla a tough battle.
Undedogs always tend to win. It honestly wouldn't matter who win since underdogs winning is just as predictable as godzilla winning

Godzilla adapts to opponents style of fighting. He learns as he fights. He has a hard radiation layer of skin, and he can regenerate too. Kong would need to kill him ASAP to win. Kong is king among his species, but Godzilla is the King of all monsters. I am team Godzilla 🦎

Kong is far more combat-intelligent than Godzilla, which means he's going to adapt way better and faster than Godzilla, plus Godzilla's regenerative ability isn't passive, he needs radiation to heal quickly.

I like them both to be honest, I appreciate how they did Kong as well having him strategically move and counter Godzilla’s attacks having him use his intelligence and agility to counter Godzilla’s strength and power I like that a lot. But people need to remember Godzilla is a tank, he can take one hell of a beating, that tail is lethal getting hit by that will do critical damage. I knew Godzilla would win from the beginning because if you look at Godzilla’s history he’s been through a lot worse. He’s been jumped by giant monsters, fought things twice his size and fell from space. Kong put up a good fight he wasn’t going down easy but he wasn’t going to win.

It was a good animation but I think the creator mistook Godzilla's atomic breathe for fire. It's actually concentrated radiation so it's more like getting melted with a laser than burned by a flamethrower.

Godzilla's breath almost never did one shot any monster that was comparable to his size (some of which were just oversized animals just like Kong), especially not the Legendary/Monsterverse Godzilla, which this was based on. Also, there was a little after credits scene at the end of the video which shows that even though Kong lose, he's still alive.

Honestly Kong has an advantage of intelligence, speed and tactics on Land. But Zilla is a phenomenal swimmer plus he got that atomic breath.
I was so mad when Kong won the 1st one in the 1962 movie. I think I actually cried.

Durability allows you to withstand more damage godzilla is equivalent to a tank he is meant to do alot of damage and take alot of damage. Strategy won't mean much when your opponent has powers more fighting experience much more durable and is also extremely intelligent and more aggressive as well. On land godzilla was still the stronger opponent regardless he forced kong to make a temporary retreat which shows how much damage godzilla did to kong to force kong to flee temporary
Coming back here after watching the Actual Movie and seeing the part where Godzilla puts his foot on Kongs chest is crazy they guessed that part!!! Godzilla is king of Monsterverse!!

@@monk2985 barely stung? Ghidorah has scorch marks from Godzilla's ancient atomic breath, and the novelization makes it clear that Godzilla's supercharged atomic breath badly scorched Ghidorah's scales. Just because the movie was bad at showing the damage doesn't mean Ghidorah was unharmed

Video is cool and all but when you take into account the facts and what happens in the movies it’s easy to see why kong stands no chance. Godzilla’s title is literally the king of all monsters,he fought Ghidorah for one,one of the strongest beings in the franchise and he fought him many times,he even gets dropped from orbit and survives. King barely survived the skullcrawlers. Each feat kong does Godzilla does it better. Only advantage kong has is his thumbs.

That super breath is called an atomic breath. This particular version of the American gojira has more abilities then just that 20K degrees Celsius heat ray of death.

Godzilla has hundreds of years of battle experience, nuclear breath, and also less known abilities like a nuclear explosion from his body and a super healing factor... thats a wrap for Kong. I mean...Man, that nuclear breath wouldn't even need to touch king kong to give the mans cancer. Imagine just being NEAR a nuclear blast. Even if it dont hit you square in the face, its gonna melt your skin off. And that breath is worse than any nuclear bomb. I don't care how big you are, if you a mammal, you are done done.

In the original Kong vs. Godzilla there were two endings. The Japanese of course chose the Godzilla wins ending while American audiences chose the Kong wins ending.
That's a myth That's been debunked years ago. There's only 1 ending and it shows kong winning in both the American and Japanese versions
