If I was loaded, I don’t want no damn supercars or other high quality luxurious cars. I can go Lexus cuz there the real deal. But I’d love to own 3 Scion models, twin xB’s and I really don’t mind owning this awesome little microcsr Scion iQ with an awesome ass 1.3L sure underpowered but who cares. I’d be happy as hell to own one
In Europe we have the 1.33 with 6 speed MT, discs front and rear, easy entry, pushbutton start, start- stopsystem, fully automatic AC and 2 fit in 1 parking spot🚙
I also have heated seats on mine. EU version also has the automatic dimming mirror and the detachable glowbox "handbag" which can't store much apart from the manual and some papers, but makes the interior look nicer. I've also noticed the version on video has only one button on the trunk door. Mine has separate button for unlocking and locking the door/car.
If possible, you should do a review on the 2016 MINI Clubman. There's barely any in-dept reviews on the Clubman sadly. Most Clubman videos are just quick, drive reviews. The new Clubman isn't really a popular vehicle, which makes reviewing more difficult due to lack of stock, but I hope there will be a Clubman available for you to review in your area, if that is you want to. Thanks, Andrew.

For a micro car, it's very cool. I would not feel safe in one, nor could I handle that cabin noise. As usual, I do enjoy the variety of vehicles you present. Not just high dollar models, so thank you for that.
Yeah I wouldn’t feel safe in a planted, squat , low centre of gravity motor, with 9 airbags and a world class industry renowned safety record either...
I still own this car. So far the paint is holding up good even though it is in the sun all the time. I think it may have been garage kept before I bought it though.
A great car. Shame shame on Toyota for abandoning this car.
I love the *Scion iQ* it is my dream car....... Don't judge me.
LittleBigSeth My dream car is the Kia Soul
Aame here my friend.
I found a hot lava red 2012 I can't wait to get it
one of the few if not the only one who showed inside below the toolbox in back seat (where manual was stored) so this was a good presentation for me.
I just bought the Toyota badged one in Europe and lots of good information in this video. Can’t wait to try them out tomorrow! Great video. Thanks.
I love my Scion IQ I learned to drive in it. I hope to have it for many years👍🏻
No real comment other than thank you for another great review of a regular car. You're the best at this Mike
+Curtis McMinn Thanks Curtis! Thanks for revisiting my channel :)
Much better than a smart car. Those were like riding a lawnmower. These are awesome cars.
I think I like it look better than smart. damn scion make some interesting car. I like xb also. but both no longer made.
You can get a smart car for half the price
Christmas Gummyworm half the size, half the personality, half the safety....
Nah you’re OK thanks.
very nice review, good job!
Appreciate the review, very few go in to depth like you do into almost every little nook and cranny of a car

I wish we had the european version.. Especially the Aston Martin one..
joseph flanagan / at €50k a bit expensive🤑
I would love one of these in a 6 speed manual. would make a cool little second car.

Very nice video! What type of camera do you use?
Thanks Steve... I use a Sony AX100 :)
+MikesCarInfo can you reviews on the hyndai sonata and elantra, also on Volkswagen passat and jetta
Can you put one of the back seats down without having to put down the other?
Yes.
For a micro car, it's very cool. I would not feel safe in one, nor could I handle that cabin noise. As usual, I do enjoy the variety of vehicles you present. Not just high dollar models, so thank you for that.
It has 5 stars for safety and 9 airbags (at least the European IQ version has)
Yeah I wouldn’t feel safe in a planted, squat , low centre of gravity motor, with 9 airbags and a world class industry renowned safety record either...
*My Scion IQ has 11 airbags and a steel rollcage standard.*
You forgot to show the other storage space underneath the back seat bench.
How is the cabin noise at 75mph?
It is not a super quiet vehicle. You can hear road and engine noise.
How tall are you? And do you fit well?
+Josh Powell I am 6' and I am very comfortable in this car.
@@MikesCarInfo Awesome! I'm 6'1" and I'm interested in this car!
Is it reliable like other Scions?
No problems so far :)
MikesCarInfo
Good to know, Thanks
toyoscio are you kidding?
It’s a Toyota.
You’ll never see these boys broken down or needing a tow...
These babies are near enough bulletproof
@@montelbooner Point taken lol
Great cars, love everything about mine except that the paint started to flake and Toyota have turned their back.
what year is this iq?
2012
the iq is your new car right
It's for a family member. I still have my Acura RSX
oh ok
I had a 2003 RSX & I took a look at these & Smart cars but settled on a 2011 Honda CR-Z hybrid because of the mpg
I guess there is no cruise control for this car?
Nope
One can be added, though
akhoi1989 yes , an aftermarket kit is available
*Weird. My Scion IQ Series 10 has cruise control.*
Do they sell them in canada
yes they do,cos i drive one daily to work
I’m about to buy one and swap a hayabusa engine into it
Pearl white
how do you use the phone?
Jolis Petits Oiseaux normally just press the answer button and talk away...
Oh.... forgot to add... hold it up to your ear aswell.
my favorite car but it’s very overpriced in the used market
I got mine for $4k
omg o
This is really cheaply made....shame on them....They are very expensive used, even...weird....
How would you say they are cheaply made?
The base seat cloth is just awful. Rest of the car i love... don't know why they thought the material was in any way nice.
My 2012 scion iq has the shitty paint job from toyota peaking off my car
I still own this car. So far the paint is holding up good even though it is in the sun all the time. I think it may have been garage kept before I bought it though.
My paint started peeling as well.
@@MikesCarInfo if you stll have the car,
any updates on the paint?
@@nadrosa $4000 worth of paint work and it still has problems.
