This has been very helpful, but is there a more updated video? I think you've altered it since then, I bought mine recently and you're missing an entire column and have a whole bottom section for net worth on the one I bought.

Do you have a budget that splits your income into two paychecks a month? Or a suggestion on how to do that in excel? My husband and I both get paid the 1st and 15th and I’m looking for something that will keep us on track each time!
Any chance you can update this with the new investments/net worth section? Having a hard time figuring out exactly how to track retirement accounts (especially those with pre-tax contributions), HSA, and other miscellaneous savings accounts. Thank you!!

I wanted to know that if you knew how to format the spreadsheet so that in the left hand side where it’s meant to track your spending, if I chose the category let’s say electricity and placed an amount for it, it will automatically place the said amount in the actual column for that category? If not, could you recommend me video that can teach me how to do it. Again thank you for creating your spreadsheet.
Yay!! Glad you got yours! I do that for my personal budget, but unless someone is skilled in excel, then it's easy to accidentally mess up so I don't sell my budget template with that feature added. But I use a "sum if" function to make that happen!
Marissa, I was wondering, if Iwanted to have 2 ACTUAL columns in my spreadsheet, how would I do that? I’m not excel inclined AT ALL and don’t want to mess anything up! 😣
I am curious how people are able to spend less than $300 on groceries per month? We spend about $250 bi weekly and I keep looking for ways to save money without compromising healthy food choices.

@@amillijb09 Once you insert a row, click and drag your "main income" row within the formula. Once your main income row is highlighted, hover over the the bottom right corner (making sure the + sign is black). Drag the highlighted cells over your new row. All you have to do is rename "main income"! Let me know if you have questions!
this might be dumb, but i do not understand the" actuals and budget" section on the debt section. could someone explain it to me. what are "the actuals"
The budget is what we plan to spend during the month and the actuals are what we actually ended up spending! We track our spending to know that and then update our template to compare.
If you made a purchase of the budget spreadsheet and you want to change it to your currency what must u do and I am South African so I currently us Rand “ R”

I bought the template. When i first started i took the second income away and the other category for income. How do i get that back?
I’m sure you can insert a column by clicking on the main source of income column
But it doesnt have the formula 😕

Are your credit card purchases tracked also on your monthly budget spreadsheet? Do you also add that as income?
We just enter our credit card transactions in as regular transactions. :) Like to the category of food or gas or whatever we spent on.
