Wedding Day Highlights:
Morning Preparations: Imogen got ready in the bridal suite with her bridesmaids and mum, meticulously organizing everything for her big day with a trusty wedding clipboard. Meanwhile, John prepared in one of the attached cottages.
Ceremony: The couple exchanged vows in the breath-taking Monks’ Refectory, accompanied by the melodious tunes of a string quartet.
Post-Ceremony: Following the ceremony, the couple enjoyed a joyful confetti shot, hugs from loved ones, and a lively drinks reception in the Walled Garden. Guests indulged in games like coconut shy, giant chess, and quoits, while savouring delicious canapés and fizz.
Group & Portrait Shots: Captured group shots, including a memorable one with all guests, and took advantage of the beautiful lavender at the front of the house for stunning portraits.
Wedding Breakfast: Held in the Monks’ Refectory, where tables were elegantly decorated. After the meal, the couple enjoyed a picturesque walk down the tree-lined driveway for more portraits.
Evening Festivities: The celebration continued in the Monks’ Refectory with music, dancing, and memorable moments filled with love, laughter, and joy.
Notley Abbey is a truly remarkable venue, providing the ideal setting for Imogen and John's special day. It was an honour to capture these precious memories.
