I used to freeze the lake water for live well ice. It doesn't have any bleach or chlorine in it like ice made from tap water. It helps with your mortality rate on hot days.
This is an amazing tip! When those bass are coming from super deep water here in Michigan it's even hard to keep some of them alive with ice after you fizz them on hot days. I'll have to give this one a try
You got my crazy uncle Jane waterboarding on camera on smith lake! Crazy uncle Jane, always water boarding..doing sweet tricks, yelling really awesome sh*t..good stuff Benzo
Wish you the best in your tournaments. You've been living proof forward scan isn't cheating 😅 still love your content and attitude. Miss some of the old stuff but I know it doesn't pay the same and this is your job
When you have 5 dinks in a livewell they can get a little crazy inside it… pad your tops of the insides of the hatches, m, keep ice, plenty of spring water ice or even the water from the lake you’re fishing
“Chicken Fila some place at the mall… bitch now get me a chicken sandwich and some waffle fries”. UNFORGIVABLE. I just about pissed myself with the reference. Brought back the college baseball days
I guess I didn’t really realize how big the 3.5lb spot I caught was. Early June on smith lake under our Vrbo house dock. The channel out front was 220ft deep within 100 yards of shore.
Great job, and happy birthday. My birthday is this week and while I don't get to fish a tournament *on* my birthday, I will have 2 days of practice followed by 2 days of tournament on one of my favorite bodies of water (Mississippi River, in this case pool 12) starting the day after my birthday, so close enough. Good luck at Champlaign
Is there a rule agianst keeping more than 5 fish in your livewell If you know you might have dead fish when you get to the dock, why not keep a couple extra when you cull instead of throwing back your 6th and 7th biggest just keep them in the extra livewell?
I feel like as much money as you have on the line in these tournaments I’d go all out and install that fish lung live well system, a little pricey so I can’t justify spending the money but for you I’d say do it.
Lake Martin In the summer as bad if not worse than smith not a fan of clear water lakes if I had my choice.. I'll take Tennessee river or coosa river anyday in Alabama
Because the keep them in a 2x2 box and drive them around the lake all day. If you’re not a fan check out MLF where they weigh the fish and release them immediately
@@anythingoutdoorsgulfcoast7617 sorry for a late response I’ve grown up fishing tournaments but I’m out of Oklahoma and we fish summer tournaments and don’t even have problem with fish dying, there’s gotta be a reason they are so are to keep alive there
He fished before electronics and he'll fish after them. Although I doubt there will be a permanent ban on live scopes. They did this same complaining back when the normal systems of today showed up. It's always the bitches who complain and then change their minds as time goes by.
So what’s the official response to the fin clips on that released bass? Not shit stirring, just wanted to hear direct. I assume that you were in a hurry and forgot to pull the clips. Honest mistake, not a dead fish?
.I never ever ever have my rod tip high .really .my rod tip is at water level and I'm playing out the fish as gently as I can .doing everything I can to keep it from coming up or realizing it is even caught .amd I rarely loose a fish .even with your parabolic rods I don't understand.becaue you being a pro should know better. .know that you have a better chance of that fish coming in the boat. It just scares me when I watch you reel a fish in. Smh.and to watch you get broke off or come unglued is even worse.

It's been a bit since I've checked in. Your video quality is really sharp these days. Are you still doing walmart vids and fishing sewers?
