Don’t purchase anything from Arcaea yet, they usually launch a massive anniversary sale at March 9th when everything will be 50% off. 4. If you have trouble reading sky notes, look at their shadows. They will always be right above the shadows.
watching u is so fun!!! your energy is great! a small tip: you should consider playing on a different map in world mode. The map you're on (with the hollow cores) has no more songs to unlock, and the cores are more of a late game mechanic, so if you're looking for more content to play i recommend switching to a different map!
These videos are so much fun!! Ive been playing arcaea for a while now so it's super fun to see someone get into the game. Im sure you've already heard a lot of tips in these comments, so I just wanna compliment you on your improvement!! It might not feel like it but you're actually progressing much faster than other ppl. Arcaea has a *very* steep learning curve, so it's normal that charts feel overwhelming at times The game can be confusing with all its different aspects. Story mode is (except for prologue) paid content, and the course mode thing is something seperate as well. For now i think completing the missions and unlocking songs in world mode are the way to go but you'll figure everything out soon enough!! Looking forward to more and good luck with your arcaea journey! PS: dont bother with the "cores" in world mode, they take lots of time to unlock and are to leven partners past the max level (lvl 20 -> lvl 30)
Great video, you're definitely improving. Here's a few more tips for you: -While the tutorial tells you that traces indicate where sky notes may appear, you'll want to learn to ignore them and just watch for the notes themselves. Traces are mostly just used for visual flair, especially in Future difficulty. -If an arc has subtle back and forth movement like at 23:08, the hitbox of arcs is forgiving enough that you don't have to move back and forth, you can think of the arc as if it were moving smoothly. (I didn't know this when i first started playing so i thought i would mention it.) -Cores are used for awakening. Different characters use different cores, but not all characters can awaken. Awakening a character changes their artwork and allows them to level up to level 30. For some dlc characters, it may even change their skill. -If you clear a song with an Easy skill like on Hikari, the game won't actually show the song as cleared on the pack select or your profile card. Not a huge deal but just something that may confuse some players. -When you do eventually move on to Future, be aware that the game will no longer show indicators for when arcs move vertically. (The arc movements can be very complex there, so it would be impractical to have them.) Also, I have 13463 fragments, I've played this game for several years lol. I've bought lots of dlc songs and can say that the story is well written and quite the experience in itself.

Nice video! I've been playing arcaea for quite a long time so here are some suggestions: -You see an icon right above the World Mode button? Those are missions and I suggest to do them to be more familiar with the game interface and you can get many rewards (mini spoiler: the last two rewards are a song and a ticket to get a song in the "Memory Archive" pack for free!) -I recommend to use Hikari when you want to clear a song that might a but hard to clear it easily (her skill makes you lose less gauge!), and use Tairitsu to progress in World Mode since her stats are higher. *Important things about partner stats: -Partners have 3 types of stats: FRAG, STEP and OVER, FRAG it's the multiplier to the fragments you get when finishing a song, STEP it's the multiplier to the steps you do in Worls Mode, OVER it's not necessary right now since you're still starting so don't worry about it. -Every 5 points are around x0.1 multiplier, so for example a partner has 50 points wich is equal to x1 multiplier, or for example a partner has 75 points wich is equal to x1.5 multiplier, etc. If you didn't understand that explanation just know that the higher the number in the stats, the better lol Also a thing you might want to know: Memories are the paid money in the game and the only time they give them it's for new years (like the 100 you got) it's like 1 dollar every 100 memories btw and packs usually are 500 memories (if you want to actually buy a pack i suggest you to buy from the Main Story like Eternal Core, Vicious Labyrinth, Luminous Sky, Etc.) 15:17 Also I have 29672 fragments! i found out about you from the arcaea vids, and i feel like ive been missing out lol also heres some things you might want to know: 1. The game does differentiate clears on the easy gauge (hikari) and ones on the normal gauge (tairitsu) by showing the clear letter with a more greener color (only for the normal clears, not an FC or AP) to indicate an easy clear and a more purple color for a normal clear 2. there are FC/AP indicators in this game! The indicator is located either on the song information (which is below the score) or below the combo number depending on your settings, where the purple dot is the FC indicator and the blue one is the AP indicator (also a Full Recall = FC and a Pure Memory = AP) 3. Focus on the difficulty numbers not the difficulty name itself, because although the lowest difficulty future is rated a 7, there are a good amount of present difficulty songs that have ratings significantly higher than that. also i think if you can clear 5s with a full gauge on easy, i think you can clear your first 7s and maybe start touching future charts a little, especially if you grind, because i think 7s are where the game start to get fun imo
link play is exclusively in music play, it's at the bottom middle of the screen in song select LOL edit: also turns out partners do level up in 0 stamina maps. yall are lucky to have those, we dont have those left PFFFT- edit×2: tairitsu doesnt need a skill cause it's the normal gauge, hikari's skill turns the gauge into easy, but easy clears don't count towards your total clear count
Absolutely *loving* this video series, its so fun and refreshing to see someone experiencing arcaea as a new player, enjoying themselves without rushing the difficulty level and hyped to learn new things!! Dropping my two cents in for some tips, the color of the Arcs (Pink and Blue hold notes that fly around) are a useful indicator on how to play them, your Right hand always plays Pink, and Left always plays Blue! The way I taught myself back when i first started is Right = Red. This will help a lot on charts like Dialnote that have you cross your hand over to play the correct colors. Keep up the amazing arcaea content! 💖 (Also, as someone who LOVES the Arcaea Story, I saw you looking at it in the last video and figured i'd yap about it here. The first entries just give a breif introduction to what the world is - Memories are never fully forgotten, and instead are kept safe and preserved in the glass shards of Arcaea. You follow the story of your two partner characters Hikari and Tairitsu as they discover and explore the world. Its the best rhythm game plot I've ever experienced, i'd highly recommend (but everything is writted in the fancy language you're seeing in these first story entries, it can be tiring but helps its atmosphere a lot!) Other partners are purchased through their Side Story packs but those are much more self-contained stories. If you want to read the Main Story, start at the Eternal Core pack!!) im here to help!! hikari is usually for sightreading songs or playing difficult songs bc she helps you gain health faster. tairitsu doesnt but guves more progress in world mode, so a high risk high reward thingy. the game requires ALOT of world mode grinding, especially if ur f2p so gl. and also all of the story content (story packs, story entry, special songs) are all locked behind a paywall so u wont get any other partners or packs by playing the game but u have to spend for them. I suggest spending your memory archive ticket from the quests on a song thats a prerequisite for a future 10+ song. So basically buy masqurade legion or the ultimacy with it. its gonna help out in the future dont worry. spend your memories during anniversary when a few songs are on 50% discount price, and try getting future 10s, because again, theyre rare if youre free to play, so its good to have them for the future. i suggest you do every single song attempt you do on world mode, 0 stamina maps, because that will help you progress a LOT!!! and i mean EVERY SINGLE SONG ATTEMPT!! SPOILER ALERT (beyond difficulty is only unlocked upon reaching potential 9, and even when its obtainable at ptt 9, you still have to grind to unlock each beyond so i suggest you set that as your primary goal for now.) lookout on the events tab all the time, because alot of the time, the songs that get added to, extend archive, world extend etc are usually free upon first release, and they have to be unlocked in a limited time through world mode. that limited time is the events, so basically its free songs! even if you think ur skill level is low, keep playing songs outside your skill level. as you yourself stated last video, you get good at charts hy playing them again and again and memorising them. so keep playing harder songs more and more and thats the only way to increase your skill. step outside your comfort zobe frequently one last thing, its fun to just watch youtube videos doing full combos or all perfects on super hard songs and being shocked by them. you should try just watching ap's (theyre called "pure memory" or pm in arcaea) of like super hard songs like (SPOILER ALERT) tempestissimo, designant, testify etc. it also helps you get a feel for how high the skill ceiling is for the game love youre vids, you earned a new sub like 7 mins ago ✌️ also i have 23.7k fragments since you asked❤
Hi, I see you are currently playing present 5-6. If you want to transition into Future 7/7+, I recommend getting EX (9.8m) or at least high AA (9.7m) on pretty much all Present 6 charts. The newer charts are usually better for learning as they let you develop more skills. For Present 6, these are Dialnote and The Formula. There are two others but you will unlock them much later, so they aren't important for now. For Present 5s, Hidden Rainbows and Jingle are important. You should also focus on Dreamin' Attraction!!, qualia - ideaesthesia- and Remind the Souls once you feel like you want to play Present 7s. You will have to unlock Dreamin' Attraction!! and qualia - ideasthesia- from World mode, but they are like the first few songs to unlock anyways, shouldn't take very long. These should form the basis for Future 7/7+s. Side note: You may still get destroyed by them even after dealing with the present charts, and that's normal. Also, try to play with two fingers only. You won't need more than two for a long time. It's important since pretty much all charts rely on flowing with two fingers on hard sections. Good luck and have fun with it!
another amazing video yay :) my tip for this video is that when you're in a world mode map, click the "reward" button in the bottom right corner, it'll show how close you are to the next song unlock/fragment/character/awaken core etc, hope it'll help

For the arcs you probably already know but you should keep your right hand on the purple one and your left on the blue one. On higher level present songs and on most future songs there will be patterns that require your hands to cross over one another, make sure to take note of arc colours and use the correct hands as most cross handed sections are charted such that it’s easier to do when you follow the intended colours.

If I am right, arcaea have beginner mission on top right of world mode button that you should do since it unlock a good song, and it will helps you with learning arcaea's system too
The general progression I've seen with new players is that they struggle hard the first few days, and then get a huge skill boost until they hit the first major roadblock, being level 8 charts Also with World Mode, you'll want to only play the world maps that unlock songs for now also pro players tend to have 39,997 fragments cause thats the max lol
i got 25817 fragments rn lol they stack up to packs of 9999 and you can have max 3 packs at a time :] the map u were playing in this video doesnt spend stamina (pink things on the top left), some maps only let u spend 2 stamina at a time and some let you spend 6, the more stamina u use the faster ur partners level up :]
btw, there's a song called "Suomi" which should help you practice the arcs. When you get better, "Red and Blue" song is like introductory to intermediate difficulty arcs
For which girl to level up, i would say Tairitsu since she has higher step for world mode. Also if your hitting things late randomly then i would recommend going to settings, and calibrating your offset. Also you should use Hikari for future charts when you are able. Dont main hikari. songs you clear with her dont actually count as clears. and if you buy a pack BUY VICIOUS LABYRINTH AND GET GRIEVOUS LADY TAIRITSU SHES VERY GOOD. ONE OF THE BEST CHARACTERS IN THE GAME ONLY USE HIKARI IF A SONG IS TOO HARD AND U NEED TO CLEAR IT TO UNLOCK ANOTHER SONG..

You should level up tairitsu since she has high step and fragment levels, she will help you progress through world mode and get fragments faster.

my tip for this video is that when you're in a world mode map, click the "reward" button in the bottom right corner, it'll show how close you are to the next song unlock/fragment/character/awaken core etc, hope it'll help

Just a few quick small tips, if you miss the start of a floor hold note you can hit it in the middle of the note duration to still get the rest of the note. For the arcs you probably already know but you should keep your right hand on the purple one and your left on the blue one. On higher level present songs and on most future songs there will be patterns that require your hands to cross over one another, make sure to take note of arc colours and use the correct hands as most cross handed sections are charted such that it’s easier to do when you follow the intended colours.

If I am right, arcaea have beginner mission on top right of world mode button that you should do since it unlock a good song, and it will helps you with learning arcaea's system too
The general progression I've seen with new players is that they struggle hard the first few days, and then get a huge skill boost until they hit the first major roadblock, being level 8 charts
Also with World Mode, you'll want to only play the world maps that unlock songs for now
also pro players tend to have 39,997 fragments cause thats the max lol

i got 25817 fragments rn lol they stack up to packs of 9999 and you can have max 3 packs at a time :]
the map u were playing in this video doesnt spend stamina (pink things on the top left), some maps only let u spend 2 stamina at a time and some let you spend 6, the more stamina u use the faster ur partners level up :]
i have 29997 frags xD it doesn't have many uses later in the game
btw, there's a song called "Suomi" which should help you practice the arcs. When you get better, "Red and Blue" song is like introductory to intermediate difficulty arcs
I would say that I also have 29997 frags but i used some for the chuni event lol
@@d1avolicstrik3i used it too but farming with Kou maxed it pretty fast. the only time i can used up all my frags is when new beyond is released 😂
For which girl to level up, i would say Tairitsu since she has higher step for world mode. Also if your hitting things late randomly then i would recommend going to settings, and calibrating your offset.
Also you should use Hikari for future charts when you are able.

Dont main hikari. songs you clear with her dont actually count as clears. and if you buy a pack BUY VICIOUS LABYRINTH AND GET GRIEVOUS LADY TAIRITSU SHES VERY GOOD. ONE OF THE BEST CHARACTERS IN THE GAME ONLY USE HIKARI IF A SONG IS TOO HARD AND U NEED TO CLEAR IT TO UNLOCK ANOTHER SONG..
