    I think step by step
    1. First war take my opponent to the ground or not defend and counter my opponent tries to take me to the ground
    2. Pass the guard I prefer using take down to get directly into dominant position but sometimes it does not work so I have to work to top position
    3. Secure dominant position be patient go fort the side control to mount the best is taking the back but I do with what my opponent gives me
    4. Try to submit very basic submissions arm triangle, arm bar , guillotine, kimura or Americana
And where leglocks fits into all these steps ?
Imanari roll against stronger opponent that I struggle to take down I prefer manage my fatigue than gass out going force against force
I can’t pass the guard go to 50/50 position

I train BJJ and love it, its obviously one of the most effective martial arts out there, especially in competition on a canvas floor in a ring or octagon. But it has its weaknesses like every other martial in real life situations that we dont seem to talk about.
    1. Its not a good idea to go to the ground when there is more than one attacker, youve got a very high chance of getting kicked in head by the one thats still stood up while your on the floor choking out his buddy.
    2. Ive had my eye gouged by someone that was underneath me running out of breath in a messy street fight..
    3. a good friend of mine that is a very tough fighter had his nose bitten really badly by a bigger guy that he took to the floor in a real life fight
This is not to disrespect BJJ because i truly love it, i just wish we’d point out the weak aspects that we should be aware of when not dealing in a competition environment
