Great video! I play this game a lot with my brother, and saw that Horizons of Spirit Island is only $15, so just got myself a copy of it. I really like how they made an affordable, easier to learn version!
I'm fairly new to Spirit Island (played maybe 10-20 games), and so far Eyes is my favorite spirit. It can really keep the invaders in check and generate fear while my partners go more on the offensive.
I do enjoy this more as a low complexity defense spirit. The issue I have with Earth as a low complexity spirit is that for beginner players they can stall the game to not lose instead of adcance tiwards a win.
I consider utility as tools that you can use to support the team. Do to it's absurdly large range, it's able to hit several different land throughout the course of the game.
To add, it can also be used to control other spirits' Dahan, and not all spirits have easy access to Dahan control for avoiding Cultural Assim or Sweden escalations

i think this might be the best beginner first time playing spirit
I like this series. Haven't played with this one yet but they were a big help in our last game.
Enjoying these videos!
First time I see this game, looks interesting, will look up more about it ^^ Nice video!
If you have any question, let me know! Horizons of Spirit Island can be found at Target for only 30 dollars. It’s a great entrance game!
Great spirit! Big fan
I like this series, I haven’t played all the spirits yet, and we keep losing the game. I want to know more about every spirit‘s ability
Can you do spirits that have high complexity?
Why do you consider boon utility? It could be read as Defend at very long range
