I am an 82 year old woman and I went on a 7 day solo train trip from Detroit to Chicago to San Francisco and back again on the California Zephyr. It was wonderful beyond words going through the Rockies and then entering Utah. One person said in awe "is this still Earth?". I've been on about 25 cruises with my late husband but nothing compared to this. I do enjoy your thrifting and designing videos but at my age I have more clothes than I have places to go.
My son and I took the train from California to Chicago in August and boy was it an experience and an adventure. I saw parts of the United States that we had never seen before. Chicago was the best part of the whole trip! I loved everything about Chicago 😍
Umm the food was ok. I ended up eating from the kids menu 🫣🤣. But we also had many stops to get food or snacks on the train. Loved how they gave us endless coffee too.
Hi Jen! The vintage brooches you thrifted are beautiful. I hadn't traveled by Amtrak train since I was a little girl, until this fall when I rode the train from NC to DC/MD. The ride was very relaxing, and I plan to do more travel by train. Thank you for sharing!!
I would love to take a train trip...im in Kansas City but i do drive to Omaha and there are so many thrift stores. I usually go to ones nearer to my sons home in the outskirt and not so much in town. Great video!
