This is basically the same build I did in my frs I just have different subs but around the same watts 3.5k-4k until I get an Alt and better subs to run my 8k. Nice work I love to see frs' bang

I have the exact same system except mine are on the DC 2k right now but I plan on getting a 5k in a couple of months.
I think these would like to have more power, its wired at 1 ohm and clamping about 2kw. Going to recone and go for .5ohms and see hopefully 3kw or so
JeepAndBass or double amps and strap em!!! Be good for future upgrade on subs as well
Update on my FR-S. I used to have 8 6.5" Massive Audio subs on a CAB 2k, but sold it and went with 1 Fi Audio Q 18 on a Synergy Audio WFO 2.1D. Sold the CAB 2k and Synergy Audio and bought another 18. Currently I'm walled with a Synergy Audio WFO 5.1D. Box is 11 cubes tuned to 30hz. I'm waiting to meter it.

That was very nice set up. I personally think it was a very good choice point ☝️ both up. The pressure it's on the head. Instead of on back of the seats. That's my opinion.

RAM-NVX15 I figured the same. I think that’s what helps the low end response. I debated doing the port forward but dude to the box shape I ended up doing it top too.

I have 8 Massive Audio 6.5s on a CAB 2000.1 in my FR-S. I'm waiting on my 240 amp Singer alternator to come in so that I can run my 2nd battery in the trunk, but for now, it's crazy loud. I'll be putting the meter on it in 2 weeks to see what my numbers are. I'll post a video of it today (04/01/2019) for you all to see it.

I have a Nikon coolpix and it picks up bass amazingly, higher frequencies aren’t as sharp as better quality cameras like iPhones, but I do notice bass quality gets better with cheaper cameras / handhelds, it seems like there’s never a best of both worlds unless you spend big money on a 1000$+ setup

it's all about frame rate, Ray....play with different rates....higher will show plenty of flex in slo-mo....lower rate will show flex at normal speed.

Niko Reyes Camera does no justice for how flat the response is! Yes it wants power. The amp is at 1ohm. He wants to recone soon so we can wire down to .5 and upgrade his alternator. Should do wonders.

dave williams Running on deck power right now. The door woofers do run on factory amp. He has plans to upgrade to a dedicated 4 channel in the near future

Actually did swap out to a pioneer double din. That helped a lot.
JeepAndBass I've noticed more EQ tuning on deck helps tremendously boost good and cut problem frequencies

Is your amp's rca cables and remote wire connected to the stock amp? My alpine mrp-m2000 amp is connected that way and when I play some loud songs the amp cuts off. Is it because it's connected to the stock amp and gives a "filtered sound" or is it because I need to upgrade my battery and other stuff?
Im doing 152.7 at 28hz with mine so does that mean im the loudest

Dylan Elder I went to 30fps from 60fps and that helped some. The stabilizer seems to kinda make things look still when your in the car or near it. Getting used to the phone. When it’s in selfi mode it seems like a better video as far as bass goes.

That's a really really nice box love the work man.. please don't take this the wrong wrong way but 149 isn't very good for them I wouldn't think I have just 2 10s on 2k hitting 148+ . But either way to notch work
sleeper10s Consider this broke 149 on 1800w clamped and at 33hz. Not in the 40hz or 50hz range. Also consider how wide the bandwidth is of this setup. It’s definitely difficult to have the best of everything at once lol
Def not bad if he's got great bandwidth and at 33hz I'm close to 36hz. One of my favorite build ever I would love to have something that nice

JeepAndBass lows are where it's at. My 2 15s play 23/58hz with 2.9db diff between frequencies. Hate when I hear a system and ur waiting for the low note to slam and shake the world and all u get is woofers flapping uncontrollably with no real output. #nofartboxes #lovelows

Those amp power and ground wires are a millimeter from touching, danger close design flaw IMO.
Why did u choose port up and subs up as opposed to both forward?
Daniel Harrell To load the subs off of a surface. Helps the bandwidth. Port kinda was forced to be up due to the shape of the box.
What are you using for mids and highs?

Box is to big, you can hear them out of control. Thats why it sounds like there flappin around in that box. Those subs will eventually fail cuz of it. Thats why its important to stick with what the manufacture recommends.
