The girl on the guitar going up & down the scale is awesome & she makes it look so easy. This is the best & only bluegrass band that I like. These people are really talented.
good video of Nadine on the bass. She is so good and very talented. She could play that thing in her sleep. It is so natural for her. she makes it look easy.
soundofsilence, Nadine Landry is from the Gaspe' in Eastern Canada. Pointe' al le Garde' if the 48 year's of my memory drive are serving me right. The last time I visited her grandfather Fred, my father's brother! Thousands of miles separate us and I just learned of the Foghorn String Band on the 21st December. Totally inspiring!
We don't hear music this good in Nashville anymore. It's all corporate canned whining dribble in today's country music business. The Foghorn String Band is real country music reincarnated!
They are appreciated in Canada as well. In fact they are moving to Quebec ( apperently). That seems sad, bluegrass belongs to the mountains, not a particular state or country. But to have to leave to survive as a player is sad. Canada's gain if this is true but still, doesn't seem fair somehow. Gaspe is the rumour...where this group is re - locating.
Ten thousand reasons why Iʼm wrong for you and you are wrong for me The things you wanted most of all I know Iʼll never be I tried to love you best but it just was not right Thats why Iʼm sick sad and lonesome tonight Iʼm sick sad and Lonesome tonight Am Wishing I was by your side holding you tight Iʼd call you on the telephone but weʼd only fight Thats why Iʼm sick sad and lonesome tonight Do you remember dear when we were young and our love was oh so free You promised if i was true to you that youʼd be true to me but now weʼre far apart and I cannot make it right thats why Iʼm sick sad and lonesome tonight Iʼm sick sad and Lonesome tonight Am Wishing I was by your side holding you tight Iʼd call you on the telephone but weʼd only fight Thats why Iʼm sick sad and lonesome tonight
Such a good idea, house concerts, though one wonders whether they are financially attractive to a four piece combo. Certainly they are a lot better than the pub culture we have here in UK where everyone is drinking and talking through the music - and the performers are paid no better so I understand
Deep End Sessions very interesting! Thanks! And if you only have one act, not a bad screw!!! My problem would be the fact that in concert I could only do about 30 minutes or so live. ruclips.net/video/kpXZ7HBGjgw/видео.html

We ask for a $45 adult donation, which includes concert & dinner. All the $ goes to the band and food. Bands make @ $2000 or so depending on turnout.

Because the Opry doesn't play country anymore
Muito bomg
