I’m short (5’6”) and had to swap out the stock bars for 12” Apes from Dominator. I looked at different risers but none of them would accommodate the gauge on the Lowrider. Dominator supplied all the wiring, cables and brake line. My bike is non-ABS and getting the non-ABS brake line from HD went from 3 weeks to 3 months. That forced me to go with the complete kit from Dominator. The handlebar swap made my 2022 Lowrider S a very comfortable ride.
Perfect info! I just ordered the OG risers with their new gauge pod for my '22 FXLRS. I previously installed 6.5" Drag Specialties risers because I knew it worked with the stock gauge but you're right, the gauge sits vertically. At the time I didn't see any other companies offering something for the '22. The bike is lookin' good man!
Thanks. OG Moto, Thrashin Supply and a few other brands also sell the top clamp with the cutout to use with the ST gauge. As a matter of fact, I have the clamp with the cutout and still waiting for the ST gauge to arrive. It's currently on backorder.
Bike looks good. Just picked up a ST and thinking about getting that SDC seat with gold stitching and wanted to see your bike from the side. What your IG name? I wanted a 9.5 riser and seen you mention about just getting the 1" risers extension but wondering if it's noticeable with that extension. Really wanna go with OG cause want a gold top clamp
Hi, did you need a clutch cable extension? I just bought all the parts in the description for a weekend project. Was wondering what you did for clutch cable. Thank you
In this video, I used the stock clutch cable. Just move it out of the hole in the triple tree. I changed the clutch cable a few months after. Went with 39” if I remember correctly.
Great build! Where did you get the rubber gasket for the gauge bucket ? I'm trying the same setup. It looks like the stock bucket has a gasket too but I'm assuming you need a second gasket for this setup?
Did you need to get extension cables for everything? I went to two Harley Dealerships today and they said Harley put enough slack for all wires to go up to 12 inch bars on the 22 FXLRS? However no one has confirmed this and everybody buys extension cables on the RUclips videos I’ve watched.
I've seen some people going with 6.5" riser and still use stock cable. I personally won't do it because I don't want to risk stretching the cable and damage it in the long run. The brake line is pretty maxed at with stock riser. No way you can go up to 12" bar without extension.
@@Jsanchez52 It was pretty easy to me. I just used a regular wrench and loosened it. Make sure you leave the bike off or to be safe, remove the main fuse.
@@nystar01 hello. Wondering if you would be interested in selling your stock risers? I have a 2022 low rider s I really like the feel of st pullback. Let me know
@@ZBULLET523 You need 6" extension for all the electrical wiring (throttle, light, control). For clutch you need 39"-40" upper. For break, you need 26"-28".
how tall are you and did the 8.5" risers get your hands to shoulder height? I ordered the 6.5" and need to go up more hands are still below shoulder height, I am 5' 7"
Thanks man! Vid was a big help. I got 8in pull backs and they have more pull back than other brands and I have an 11in window on my bike so I'm hoping my gauge don't stick out to far
Thank you for walking through the parts. Saving this video for when it's in my budget to do risers!
You're welcome. Good luck.

Very impressive build. You've just saved me a major problem. I can't hack the gauges on the ST.

@@nystar01 if you dont mind me asking how much was the st gauge ? Thought about switching it up
@@Matt.fxlrs666 it was around $220 shipped. It's currently on back order. I waited 3 months.
looks great! thanks for posting the info!
Thanks. Hope it helps.
Keep them coming, man !
U have my vote, best of luck with ur channel 💯👍
Thanks. Not really looking to build up a channel. Just want to randomly post bike related stuff. :)
Did you have to extend the clutch cable at all?
Thank you sir
Love the content I had a question did you had to get shims for your stock bars
Thanks. The shim is required for the OG riser which is built for 1 1/8" bar.
Could you have used 6” turn signal cable?
I really enjoy watching your videos in 480p, also is that an quad lock?
Yes it is. The video is 1080p.
Very nice set up 👍👍 . I live in New York City , you have any shop recommend for do all the modifications?
Sorry, I don't know. I do all the work myself.

By any chance you see this where did you get that rubber gasket
If you're talking about the rubber gasket for the gauge, I got it from Harley.

The gasket comes with the digital gauge. I thought it's a separate item but I was glad it came with the gauge.

Bung king has the riser with original speedo.
Yes, but their pullback riser will put the speedo almost vertical and you can't see the info.
Great video! … would you know how long would you think the clutch cable you suggest if you did decide to put it through the riser and tuck it away?
I ordered a 39” clutch cable. Looks like it’s the perfect length for 9.5” riser. After this video, I added a 1” spacer and make it 9.5” in total.
@@nystar01 awesome thanks for the video very informative!..bike looks awesome…where did you order clutch cable from?
@@sleepers17 Ordered mine from Harley. Looks like it's not on backorder anymore.

If going to a 10" riser would these cables still work?
Yes. I added a 1" spacer and currently at 9.5". Definitely has room for another inch. Clutch needs to be replaced.

where can i buy cable extensions for 8 inch risers for the low rider st ?? can someone give me part numbers or a website ?
I sourced mine separately. All extensions are from Guerrilla Cable. Clutch is from HD, and break from Dennis Kirk - Magnum Shielding.
How much inch is the original lowrider S handlebar?
about 3.5" I believe.
Hi Vincent, did u keep the stock handlebars, what company is ur fairing from & how high is the windshield
Yes, stock bar and Memphis Shade fairing with 13” tinted windshield
@@nystar01 sorry just realized you don't have the st. It's late

I’m 5’7” also. You’ll be fine with 8.5” or 9.5”. I added a 1” spacer so I’m at 9.5” now and it’s perfect at slightly below my shoulder.
You listed 12in turn extension from guerilla. Did you need all 12in or could you have went with shorter. I ask because everything else listed is 6in
That’s the only length they offer. Even though it was 12”, it didn’t feel there was a lot of slack hanging.

Where did you get the rubber gaskets?
