This man out here doing the lords work, god bless you kind sir
Nice! Got mine a few months ago-thruxton rs. It’s now my daily …what a fantastic bike. Maybe I’ll run into you at Bear Mnt. Cheers!
I’m 5’5” and flat footed on my ST
Odd. Im 5’7 with 14 inch rise and la pera seat AND SE ohlins suspension front and rear… can flat foot the ground in thorogoods moctoes… why dudes lie about their height
beautiful day, beautiful bike, nice twisties.
Drop the link so we can buy it too
Thank you for the video man, what’s the brand of the grips that you replaced for the Dominion?
@@pepebeto74 Thanks man. It’s ODI hart luck.
This is my first subscribe
Un video sin que se oiga a la "protagonista" no es un buen video. 🧐
Atleast the bike doesn't look small, I'm 6'2 and I feel like I make most bikes look kinda small
Can I ask what kind of Sissy bar that is? I like it for this bike
@@ollirep1 It’s the detachable sissy bar from Amazon. I like it too because of the height.
Short kings
Ur 5ft tops
Ok dude! I posted video to help people decide the riser height and get stupid comments like this.
@@nystar01 I’m just sayin ur prob not 5ft 7….just trying to help people understand the size of the bike and riser height…the way I see it I’m helping u and the general public…
@@Mr.Storytime959 Yeah dude, your logic is I’m lying about my height and trying to deceive people on the internet that I don’t even know. Makes total sense. Btw, I made this as a reference to help the rider group I’m in.
@@nystar01 I’m out here helping u
Next year next year🖤 Beautiful machine mate👍🏻
Hey, question. I’m getting a nasty rattle coming from the fairing at about 3k RPM. It comes and goes. Have you had any experience with this?
Nope, mine doesn’t have any rattle. Remove the outer fairing and check if one of the bolts inside fell off and if lighting wiring secured.
@@nystar01 appreciate the response !
Nice bike, I got an iron, put sundowner solo on it, better but still not a good ride for unsmooth roads, these short shocks are better than hardtail but not much Does springer seat work well?
Dream bike 👌
Where did you get the spring seat
TC Bros. You can get the OEM one from Harley also.
Anything you buy from harley-davidson you're only paying that much for something simple because of the name harley-davidson that on it, other then that I've bought plenty parts for my bike from Amazon, ebay and other sites for half the price of what harley sells them for and the quality is just as good.
I agree. That said, I do notice that there is cost cutting with these aftermarket parts. The QC on the OEM parts are slightly better and you’ll have the assurance that they’re least likely to fail due to the liability. For simple parts, Amazon stuff is pretty solid. For critical parts, stick to OEM or more reputable companies.
For some reason I knew from the beginning that you would be one of those people that have no idea that those watching this might be interested in hearing the bike! WTf?! Nice bike, but damn, start her up next time.❤❤
for the issue you had with the moons mc light. you need to turn power on but dont start the bike. turn your hazards on for 30seconds and then try the turn signals. that resets the hyper flash, as it learns the wattage of the new bulbs.
Thanks. I tried it too, but unfortunately it didn’t work for me.
@@nystar01 ahh ok.
the 2022 Low Rider S should come with pre-drilled holes on the frame for the OEM ST fairing bracket, Does the AB bracket bolts on those factory holes or it shares the bolt with the tank?
It shares the bolt with the tank. Mine doesn’t have the holes because Harley used the leftover frame from 2021 for some bikes assembled in the first batch of 2022.
This is awesome. Are the kids able to place their feet on the battery or did you pick up an attachment to help them do that?
At 2min15s mark, you can see my son's feet placement. I mounted a 12" long u shape metal bracket on the front part part of the frame, drilled 4 holes and mounted 2 foot pegs that I got from amazon at two different levels.
@@nystar01 Smart. thank you! Think I'm going to do something similar, looks like a blast.
@@gklol1389 Yes, my sons love it. The older one is getting a little too big to fit both in the front now.
Wow.. looks great! I’ve pretty much done the same exact mods to my bike. Just got those same bags of Amazon. After a few trips to ace hardware for nuts and bolts… and ordering a bracket for my Bassani exhaust, the bags are finally on. Maybe I’ll post a walk around video if my bike soon.
How long did it take to receive the st fairing from Advan Black ?
About 3 weeks
@@nystar01 thanks for the reply ! You got a great set up!
Thats one of the Best and most Cost effective way to have a LRST without buying One...Make it out of a LRS...Only 2 differences i would do is....A set of Fowards and Leather Pro Saddlebags...
It doesn't make sense to trade in for an ST if you already have the S and put a lot of money into modding it. But if you wanted an ST from the beginning, just go with an ST. OEM quality is better in my opinion. I'm a short guy so the mid is perfect for me. I personally prefer the look of the hard bag over the Leatherpro bags. Now that Nasty Hog just came out with the detachable chopped bags, I'm interested in that as well.
@@nystar01 The Only thing when its a HD? Parts that are OEM is for resale value...Aftermarket is just as good if not Better and the Cost is Cheaper...If a Guy is looking for an investment buy a Bar of Gold...Bikes are made to ride the Hell of...
Thanks for sharing. Good reference for making a decision on riser height.
Wunderful 👍 I have the same model. I love this bike. Yours is tastefully personalized, well done 👏 Hello from France
great looking st! What was your wait time for the fairing?
Thanks. About 3 weeks.
I really like all your new mods, how’s the wind buffeting with the new fairing now
Thanks. There’s no buffeting at all. Just wind hitting the top of my helmet.
Did u install the fairing urself or do u have someone do it for u, if u did how easy/hard was it
@@orli2940 I installed it myself. It’s very straight forward.
Great, mind me asking how much did you pay for the fairing
@@orli2940 it’s about $1500 from Advanblack
Nice work brother 😊
Beautiful ! Where did you buy the black support for the front light please ?
Thanks. It’s Classicbike Raisch Lowering Bracket. I got mine from A&J Cycles.
Kind of sad 24 is last year. Albeit thay can bring it back....😊
Great looking bike. Also got the Bullitt specifically for this bike. Super annoying whistling sound from the rear vent, literally ear-piercing 110-120km/h and higher. Earplugs are a must.
Thanks. I agree on the loudness. I use the Earpiece plugs which will help reducing and filtering the noise.
To much about what people think and to little about yourself. You'll end up switching it for a car or my guess is you already have a couple and this one is just for show.
Hi, how do u like ur triumph vs ur Low Riders S
Two completely different bikes. I love both.
@@nystar01do u still have the LRS
Can u describe how completely bikes are they
ich könnte da Stundenlang zuschauen. 😁👍
Une véritable beauté ❤
I know this is an old video, having the same rubbing noise. Did you get this fix? Do you remember the cause?
It’s the clock spring.
Did u solve the problem?
Yes, the dealer replaced the clock spring and the rubbing went away.
Listing the bar height is equally important.
Stock bar - about 3.5" raise I believe.
Nuce clip-but PLEASE get a wind sock for your microphone.
It’s an impromptu video. No prep no edit.
Mid controls too tight for me..extra bucks for forward to mids..ps I'm only 5' 9.
9:28 what caliper is that ?
Aliexpress. Same as the Onyx caliper.
@@nystar01 do you have a link ?
So basically stock exhaust is as high performance as 2-1 exhaust 😂
I made this video to give other riders a point of reference for what riser height to go with. I think many people misunderstood the purpose of the video and focus on whether you can flat foot or not. Everyone's build is different, and it also depends on the surface condition. The road is slightly slanted on the side and made it worse. I can almost flat foot with both feet down in my gauge and never struggle with this bike. You don't need to be able to flat foot to confidently handle a bike, even a 700lbs like this one. I also ride a Thruxton w/ 32" seat height if you watch my other videos and have no issues at all. Thanks all and hope this helps you make your decision on what ariser to go with. I have 9.5" riser now, and it's perfect for me.
What brand of risers did you go with
@@N3rdb1k3r Original Garage Moto
Check out the Kraus raptor pullback plate... I'm similar build and it pulled the bars back another 2" and looks really good too.
How did you get the proper gauge angle?
Im the same height and i dont struggle at all on my LRS, i have the same height t bar setup too
I never struggle with my LRS either. I think the slope on the road makes it worse. I can almost flat foot with both feet down when it is in my garage. I think many people focus on the wrong thing in this video. My video was made to give people a reference of what riser height would work for them, where your shoulder is relative to the grip. Not if you can flat foot or not. I also have 9.5" riser now, and it's perfect.
Thank you for walking through the parts. Saving this video for when it's in my budget to do risers!
You're welcome. Good luck.
I’m 5’4 and you look like how I look on my bike
It depends on your build also - torso vs. inseam. I think the uneven road here made it worse. I sat on my bike in the garage yesterday, and I definitely can almost flat foot it.
How much pullback on those risers?
It's 1.5" pullback according to OG Moto.
