- With the Rivers in flood and the conditions not ideal, it was time to head towards the lakes. As luck would have it i had a social planned with a good friend of mine, so we headed down to an old lake which had some big pike in.

What I don't get Lee .is with the content you produce. Why you don't have subscribers in the 10's of thousands. I think you and David Scobbie produce the best pike channels on Utube .
Thanks for a good couple of days my mate 😊 good laugh, good craic and although not loads of pike ,we had enough determination and nouse to make sure we had a couple of decent ones between us

Always nice to get a few but good to have a catch up with mates aswell even if the weather is cold and raining ,and it can be bloody miserable😂
Lee - great stuff as usual.
Although the 'big girl' keeps eluding me, love your enthusiasm for whatever size Pike you catch (same as me!) - they are the most beautiful fish (possibly with the exception of Tench) and their colours are always amazing - keep at it son, that 30 is out there!

Cheers mate, for pike fishing I use either 20lb mono or 40lb braid - most of this season I've been using 40lb braid pal

Loving your vids mate and top work on your Pike this winter. Often wish I'd got into the piking as a young un. Was 2 possibly 3 30's in Bleasby back in the 90's...had one winding a boilie rig in and a different one that grabbed my marker float!

Cheers James, I've never fished Inverness before but I have fished a few lochs around Scotland , very tough places for big pike.

My club water has some great pike in it but Jesus the eels are a nightmare! Once it’s dark it’s almost impossible to do an over nighter without them sucking the ass out of the baits 🤣 you know of any baits they’ll leave alone?

You attach the swinger first under tension on the line then release the bail arm
