- You sometimes get to the point where you simply have to listen to the ranges. Get out there and throw some howls at the furtherest gullies and listen to what comes back. Just take your Wallaby-Jack with you!!!

Brandon is affectionate. But Skunk is one hunting beast. Both dogs are awesome.
It's always good when that drought breaks. When you were howling for the dogs, the cats and dog here went running, the didn't know what was going on. thanks for the laugh and the videos.
A great advert for Australia; makes me want to visit. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for inviting us along . 👍
Thanks again Clark. A bit more Tuesday night entertainment!

Old skool rules 👍🇭🇲
Excellent video mate 👍.
I think the reason your dogs are so affectionate & loyal is because your a great master & you treat them good & they know it.
Just back from WA
Your video brings back the memory of the wild unspoilt beauty of Australia 🌏🦘
Truly an incredible country
I would call it a remarkable country.
Drove B-doubles/RTs around the outback and just loved it. If the Government wasn't so corrupt I'd be back in a heart beat.
Great content as always.
The art work you talking about setting traps and lure etc.
Has made me start trying to trap foxes down here at the bottom of Victoria
Glad to be able to check the trapes with you cobber. Sorry we weren't much help with the bog but
i knew you would be ok.😂 Thanks for the video Clark.🤠
Welcome down south. Weather is a pain but I’m learning a lot from you. Thanks.👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺
Good on you Clark...One of the great things in life the love between a man and his dog..Appreciate your videos mate.....Cheers from Sydney town.
Perseverance fueled by self confidence. Respect such behavior, well done Sir!!! BTW Bandon doesn't care about sharing his name with some corrupt old geezer in the states.. not one tiny bit.
Tough going on the line, Clark! That mud reminded me of a story of a Bullocky, bogged to the axles, with a full load of wool on. He unloaded the bales of wool, rolled each one 200 yards further along, then re loaded them on his own. It was two weeks of very hard work. The Bullocky has gone regarding wool transport , but you are still at it. Good on you. Regards....
Some say I was born too late and don't really suit modern times. :)
Paid off very good hard work when it's wet. Brilliant love ya work. Ripper country your in. Hit them hard.
Tough one mate.🙏🇦🇺👍
Hey Clark, I’ve heard an interesting “Lure” idea, get hold of a vet and ask him if he ever has squeezed out the gland beside the dogs arsehole, Note, the first thing any dog does when they meet is check out that gland. Sometimes a dog needs that done for some reason, it’s a pretty potent goo. Best of luck. Loveya vids, dogs and everything your so passionate about. Times are definitely going haywire, you know that common sence is not that common anymore, I’ll leave it at that.
We like your style Clarkie! From a couple of old coots newly subbed to your channel from Gt Barrier Is, NZ. Yeah we're Kiwis but we can't help that mate. Keep on keeping on. So sorry bout Skunky
As a half breed Kiwi, I will forgive ya mate!!
It's almost as though they know they are for the high jump when you show up. Great vid.
It is the highlight of my week to check traps with you! Hunting season just started here, so I've been out and about, saw a nice 5x5 bull elk last night, but we need at least 6 on one side. Good luck on the trap line!
Saw a great 5x5 four year old myself a few days ago. Will post some interesting international clips soon.
Morning Clark!!
Glad to see you got the buggy back up and running...nothing worse than being stranded out in the bush or the desert...
(I have wondered why you don't run a winch on your rig just for times such as that bog down or trees/beasts down across the track way).
Safe travels, friend❤❤
Stay FROSTY...
Keep your powder dry and your head on a swivel...

Have been on a tight budget for a long while but soon, we will get er done!
Love the videos mate you should get a ground anchor and winch for the old zook tho just in case
Yep. Too used to dry weather mate.🤣
That's alot of lizards, I remember as a kid bailing 5 in the same big gum tree at a camp site.
Man those are big lizards
Every one counts Clark slow and steady wins the race
In the north west around ashburton downs.. when it rains it turns to brown baby poo.. You battle as it washes traps out, get bogged on a piece of bread & butter ... bummer about the buggy mate
Good to hear theres some rain about mate.
Just got back from hunting west of Cooktown on a mates place an he has the exact same Zook which had the same issue as urs. I popped the free wheel hub off an the sliding drive flange had dislodged from the outer part of the free wheel hub so refitted it an 10min later all good 👍👍
exactly. Would have saved a few coarse Anglo-Saxon colloquialisms
@@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry was urs the same issue mate?
Beautiful country there. You needed them KM2s you had on the old Suzuki. I'm sitting at BFG writing you this@ 3:30am my time. Take care Mate. GREAT video
that's a beautiful bit of country
Love these down to earth videos. No BS.
PS. What broke in little Suzuki?
Front hub stripped
Always waiting for trapline Tuesday, real tv ! Picking em off one by one.. tremendous persistence Clark 👍
Them goeys would do some damage to the dogs hey??
Would they make a meal in survival situations?
Great work team
Wow I clicked over 500 for ya. Love your Videos 🤩. Keep up the good 💯 work. Say Hello to the Dogs 🐕 for me 😅.
Thank you! Will do!
billabong, also known as an "ox bow lake" (FYI for the foreigners).
Perseverance pays off.
Brandon appears to have a higher IQ than his namesake😂
Definitely more alert!
Rob from West Aus
Thanks clarke another top vid
Soil looks good around there. Blackish. Volcanic? Always v boggy in the wet.
I see a pattern forming with mud and vehicles :)
Memories........
Lovely Ep in lovely Country, What ended up being wrong with your suki 4wd,
Nice work Clark, shame those dogs weren’t much use 🙄😂😂
They keep me entertained!!
Hi Clark, what made you give Skunk that name and is he your favourite?
Geoff. UK.
He was an arrogant little pup, broke his leg badly, vet advised to "put him down", we took him home and put on a Thomas splint, healed perfectly and he became my favourite right hand super smart mate. Black and white, smelly and I liked the name.
@@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry Thank you for replying Clark.
Not bad Mcghie keep on trucking
Great effort there
Well done
Ever thought of tracking these vermin with a collar, and some tranquilizer.
Trust not a rubbish question
Not an all. There has been plenty of work done with radio and satellite tracking of wild dogs in Aus, with evidence that some dogs move a long long way.
1 is better than none. You'll do better from here on out
Clark if you have Goannas, do snakes avoid the area ?
Still heaps of snakes in this area
@@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry Thanks
If you get a couple of dogs in one area do they come back
If members of the same pack, they usually keep coming back until they get spooked, then I have seen them leave the area for weeks.
@@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry Thanks, great show
Been meaning to ask you for a while do you use hollow points through your 22
Yep. maximise the hit and reduces pass throughs
Hey Clark who else do you recommended to watch that are good trappers to learn from on youtube beside your self ??
I actually don't get any time to watch other RUclipsrs but there are quite a few getting on board with trapping clips. You will learn from everyone, the good and the bad
So what did you need to fix for the 4WD?
Front hub
🙂
How are there no ferral hogs on that property or have the dogs an goannas eaten them all? God dam, those dingos are alot smarter than coyotes. I didn't think dingos could bark but i guess thats the dog in them hey?
You need to carry some " max tracks" in the wet . And maybe fit a winch.
Though this is the wettest, you've been for a while.
Give me time!! When we get back on our feet after the business devastation of Conjob19 👍
Good morning Clark mcGhies what is the Desiel prices?
$2.40 lt at that time
Yeah not theory is science ,Goanna and snakes is much better smell than dogs
Can't they move the cattle out of the way for a few days? Plenty of grass everywhere.
Mostly, the dogs hang out where the cattle are. You have to work within the cattle areas.
It is the problem dogs that hang with the cattle.
