I've been hunting trapping and fishing my whole life. Been round lots of border collie's. Your dog's are the best trained and most versatile collie's I've ever seen well done mate from Scotland 👍👍
Good overall, evidence calf kill method, excellent advice to control spread of noxious weeds good trail cam footage and one dog down, next eps should be interesting, thanks for the hard yards Clark.
I've had many of those grass cutters. Now I don't do them, ever. Shat on way too often. As for dogs on pigs, we got the call for a vineyard with pigs. Smoked ten, then today, two pups smoked their first pig. It was tiny, the important part is they got onto it!
Good work mate. I'm also hearing what you said about cutting your grass. I bowhunted on Bolivia Station, NSW, many years ago. Some "friends" went down behind my back and dingo'd me. I don't know what they said to Herb, the station manager, but he wouldn't allow me back.
You do good things Clark it’s bloody good to see that really people like yourself are still out there and just tell and show how it really is ,so thank you
Love the content mate, I got some of ted Mitchells lure ready to go I can't wait to get out and have a crack, I'm very hesitant too in taking people out then they try and cut your grass mate I feel your pain, keep up the good work mate. Cheers Beau
That little squeaker is a bloody beauty .......fortyfive years ago we had a farm in dederang Victoria as kids with dad he got hold of a jack rabbit squealing tape from America and we would play it thru the tape deck and outside speaker chasing foxes we could whistle with the old faithful button whistle ive still got and im 56 ut that tape mate the first night we used it it was scary we had a dimmer on our light and swear on my left nut when I flicked that dimmer on foxes were knockin on the ute door it was unreal.....
Mate, i agree with every thing you said. Especially about gate openers cutting your grass. Have the same problem here in Montana. Would be nice if a gate opener were to come down there from N.Z., Britain, Canada or the U.S., no way they'd cut your grass then. Haha. It's not just an Aussie thing, as you noted, just human nature ( tho shows low morals ). Sorry yor mate had to drive 19 hrs, but does make it special when he does ! Cheers...
Your dead right not many can you trust with a good spot .I used to have a great duckshooting spot in NZ took a mate ? and sure enough the very next day caught him there with a couple of his mates ,only thing was i knew next door neighbour so went in there coming on dark ,got near to my pssy and shot at duckes a million miles up so they stayed away lol .This guy then went to abuse me at night when we left the farms ,both farms came out at one spot on road ,so i touched him up a bit and he never came back lol.Theres not many who live by the code for sure .
Unreal to see the catch on camera mate well done. Good points about bio security! Navua Sedge is bad in some areas around home, always on the look our for it and wash my gear after each outing. Keep up the good work mate
I got so lucky in the way of the people that bought me in to teach me how to hunt. I'm allowed to go hunt some properties without them. but a big part of hunting for me is to be with my mates. I cant imagine life if I didnt meet the awesome humans that I get the privilege to hunt with
Interesting that the first thing the dingo did was bite the trap. That surprised me. Secondly, the rest of the pack looked like they had seen a dog in a trap before and scarpered pretty sharpish.
Well done mate. Those squeakers work a treat. My only concern is that now that the others have heard it and seen their mate get caught at the site. Would that deter the rest from coming to the squeaker again? At least after a second pack member got caught? Will be interesting to see the results. 👍
Great trapping, your dogs are well trained, I can see how much you love them. Geez those feral dogs are so careful, they trod just about everywhere but the trap for a while anyway.Hope there's a part three. Let us know how many you get in total over the hunt.
Great work again Clark and Co. Can I ask what calibre your gate man used on the pig? Thanks to your advice I even clean my wheelchair even though most of my shooting is done from farm vehicles. Regards Mark from Redlands.
Gidday mate, I'm about your age and I've had my brno model 2 - 1973 for 36 years, put thousands through her in nz, can I ask what ammo yours likes, cheers.
Truely amazing sense of smell and the ability to work out whats been happening via this, trail cam footage very impressive, what’s the name of the unit you use please, cheers from Mypolonga SA
Unreal color of dog and amount of dog's. See up north the magpie geese outa control better than a slasher can cut hay unreal even test crops wiped out.
If you even think you are getting 100% of the parthinem out of a vehicle. You’re fooling yourself and landowners. That shit gets in radiators. Chasis. Suspension joints. It’s worst crap out there and seed lives so long. I had seperate vehicles for land with it and without. My front yard was always poping up new plants after rain Absolutely hate it
Morning Clark🤠 That squeaker seems to be the addition to the lures that draws the interest!! Good job on the first of that pack!! Safe travels, friend ❤❤ Stay FROSTY... Keep your powder dry and your head on a swivel... 🇺🇲🇦🇮WWG1WGA🇺🇲🇦🇮NCSWIC🇺🇲🇦🇮
Hello from Canada! What make of vehicle are you driving , there, and where do you get your squeakers?lol and I noticed you kneel on a tarp yet you set bare handed , isn't that counter productive?
Driving a Toyota Landcruiser 79 series as my main transport and a Suzuki Sierra with a 1.6 motor as the work vehicle. I use the tarp to stop the excess dirt from messing the trap site, not to stop the scent.
Look everyone, either a vegan who runs around naked, doesn't use anything related to primary production, not even a wooden pencil, soap, nothing, doesn't even swat a fly or own a pet (or feed that pet if they do)... or we have one of them there HYPOCRITES.
I understand that there is a need to protect the calves, but have you ever thought of how it affects your own dogs when you kill a dog Infront of them,I see your own dog put its tail between it's legs, this has always been seen as a sign of fear, sometimes your actions probably have passed you by and you have forgotten the fact that you allow your dogs to see the death of another dog regardless of it being wild. Sad to see as I think you have no choice to do what you have to, but don't understand why you have to have the dogs with you.
When you see a farm dog that has strayed too far from his owner, in little pieces, skin and guts spread across an acre of ground by dingoes who would have worried, tormented and ripped it to death. My dogs hate dingoes because they know what would happen to them. My best trapping dog ever was a dingo named Ernie and he hated them as well. It's a tough country we live in.
Loved seeing the footage of the actual catch... great stuff

Wow, a day since publishing and yet no response. Thanks Clark, I love all your stuff. Kind regards from SE England.
I use those same squeakers over here in Connecticut USA. What an EXCELLENT idea using a cutoff bottle as a megaphone. Thanks
You're welcome!
Ahh , now I know what a squeaker is. (Close to my guess) righto, happy trails Clark.
That is lovely Countryside !

Great job. Keep on keeping on from BAMA.
Great work again Clark and Co. Can I ask what calibre your gate man used on the pig? Thanks to your advice I even clean my wheelchair even though most of my shooting is done from farm vehicles. Regards Mark from Redlands.

Loved your video Clark, how much do you charge for your trapping service
The old dog is looking at the green box and thinking WTF is that? Sniff sniff…year nah.. I’m outta here😂
i had a couple people try to eat my lunch as we say down here, they got told no but i just go by myself these days
Have you found a good Rabbit trap? The old gin traps worked very well, but they are now illegal 😢
It’ll be interesting to see if dogs put it together that the squeaker means a trap is nearby.
As always top class info. Those squeakers are a great tool, where can i get one?
Professional Trapping Supplies on the Gold Coast, Qld

Better to give it a go than not trying to clean your vehicle 👍
Hey Clark.l was wondering if you could do a bit of a Talk on Gun safety, while out Hunting. Thanks Mate
Hey bud where do you get those squeakers from?
Not a fan of leg traps but you gotta do what you gotta do I guess.
What ranges Qld or NSW?
Nth Qld
Youd probably catch more if you actually baited with you know, food !
Morning Clark🤠
That squeaker seems to be the addition to the lures that draws the interest!!
Good job on the first of that pack!!
Safe travels, friend ❤❤
Stay FROSTY...

Me again, can I ask what year your rifle is, cheers.
👍
Anyone know where you get these sqeekers?
I swear you live in QLD
Trappers use plastic gloves to keep the scent down.
No it didn't work because for a dog to take that much time to pull the speaker you should have got that dog

probably could
It’s still disgusting to kill a live living creature those dogs are beautiful. Go put your stock somewhere else so it doesn’t get killed.
