Really thanks for all this advice!! Am naturally a very stressed person and am doing all that it takes to keep my stress as low as possible during my Celta course ! All your videos are just great and really really helpful!! Thanks again!!!

Hi Steven your video was really helpful! My CELTA course starts in just a couple of weeks and all I can think about is how tough it's going to be and whether I'll be able to handle it as I am a very stressed person and it's difficult for me to handle stress. I've got experience in teaching but I'm not native and my tutors are both english... I'm so nervous. Thanks again for the video you're great!

Hi Hidro. You can try some new things but you need to balance it with what you can already do and are good at. You will also be assigned specific material for some of your TPs so you won't have complete freedom with what you teach. Good luck 👍
Hi i am going for the course next week. I need to ask what material i need to carry for assignment. How many assignment i need to make, what are the other materials or papers i need to carry

Hey mate thinking of applying for a celta course to teach abroad in china or the middle east ideally. Heard so much about it, some say it's a horrible grilling 4 weeks where you have no time for anything at all, others say as long as you're on top of the work it's all okay. Part of me is kind of dreading the application but I just think in worrying too much. Done a masters so surely this shouldnt be too bad.
Hi Waqar. The main thing about the CELTA is the intensity, not necessarily the difficulty. The tasks come thick and fast and it can be extremely hard to keep up. I have recently completed a master's and it's a very different type of course to that. You will be fine provided you put in the work! Good luck
CELTA Helper TV thank you for your swift response! Honestly didn't expect it to be that quick! Will be going through all your videos as I know they will help me tremendous amounts, I'm usually quite good with balancing work loads so I'm excited for it.
Hi Silvia. Yes, you have some room in your choice of activities and how you interpret the materials but you will be told (most of the time) what to teach.
@@CELTAHelper Thanks for your fast reply! At the beginning of the course, do trainees receive an overview of the lessons and respective contents they will teach? if so, then you could do some lesson plannings in advance, at the weekends for example? Or am I wrong and you need the weekends to write the assignments? Sorry for all these questions :)

HI @princeicio - It depends on a number of factors, namely your IELTS level (minimum 7.0) and any experience you have in teaching. Rizzy hi there. It sounds like you need to take a step back and relax for a minute! Remember, it is *only a course.* Now, have a look at the rubric, follow what your tutors have told you and the notes you took in the input sessions. Your task just needs to be fairly simple and nothing incredible, just make sure it's logical and fits. Best of luck with it 👍
