The word artist was created to describe people like you Kawehi. I've never seen such passion. I just found your music, subscribed, shared it with my daughter, and even sent it to weird Al Yankovic. I'll listen to you cover any song, you add so much soul, it's like I'm hearing what the song makes your feel. I wish you success. The world seems a little better with true artists like yourself in it.
I do drum covers for many different songs, even songs in foreign languages. Started when I was 17 I'm 67 now and still play (on occasion). I had one year of instruction and I still can't read music. But I can play your Mona Lisa song.
*HUGS* I 💜 your dedication, and I'm 100% sure all the effort, practice, sweat, and tears make your music so much better. And Marit says: learning every day keeps you young. If everything 'comes naturally' you never learn how to put in an effort and stretch yourself.
@@IAmKawehi mate... My stage is entombed under a crust of old beer cans, cigarette ash and stale sweat. Yours barely constitutes a health hazard! Comparatively immaculate 😅
I teach guitar and I find the talent versus practice topic infuriating. It results in folks giving up, or not even starting, because 'they're not talented (enough)'. I know my way around a guitar because I've spent upwards of 35,000 hours playing and practising! I believe I have approaching zero talent, to be honest, and I'm fine with that: I just love the journey of exploring music on my chosen instrument. Love your work.
Oh yeah I know some people who are gifted like that even for their studies.. they got highest reward for their HSC without really working..and then in 2 years of classical guitar and they play really well.. and then oh I'm gonna learn drums..and oh I join a band just like that 'cause they need a drummer now and do the biggest festival now because they are well known^^ yes they exist and really they don't have to really work and that is so annoying.. But for me, it is more about how a person struggle to get where she is after that attracts me, because it is beautiful. And so.. you are beautiful. I don't know much in music, not much means I cannot read or understand it (rythm and harmony too). But I do vocal covers, well, I try.. But I know that when you sing your voice is sooo good on the right perfect pitch like on Thank U for example... It is so good for the ears and heart. And your funny vids too^^ Thank You for being you and for the beautiful notes you are sharing of yourself :)
Feels like it takes twice as long to get half as far as some young punk that outshines you. I know that feel. But hey it's nice being able to do something amazing yourself. We only get one life.
I don't believe in talent because I know how hard I've had to work. I remember how I learned to draw, paint, program computers (around 100 languages now), and spent the last 15 years on music... not all that successfully. Those who are considered talented also had to learn, but they might have done it when they were younger. Like the guy who taught me how to draw in 7th grade already practiced by himself for years.
It's a good day when Kawhei uploads!
It’s a good day when I see your comment!
I gave up on practicing and playing all together a few years ago after some harsh feedback. Recently started again and I've missed this so much.

The tens of thousands of hours you put in shows!
Number sounds about right 😅
Talent is something you are naturally born with. This will get you started. Skill is what you learn how to do, and eventually master.
Thank you so much for this! Love seeing an upload from you.
Thank YOU! 😊

It's easy to see how much time you've dedicated with all the amazing music you make! Love it! Keep it up!
😎💜
Art is beauty in imperfection 🍻🤘
I understand, you worked really hard. You deserve all your praise. I offer it gladly.
Niiice. BTS Kawehi! I love your vlogs! And I miss your dogs.
My doggies say helloooooo!
I just gotta get some space and I'll start practicing more frequently ❤❤

I love you. You are definitely a naturally talented person.
You just motivated me to tidy up my practice space. 😂
And this is…tidier than usual 🌪️

You do very well, just as you are :-) Thank you.

Geez, I love your voice. Keep it up, K!
You have something with music that I don't have. But... I like that something.
Absolutely love your voice
I hope you're safe from the disaster this week!
I was thinking the same thing.
Why havent you gone on Americas Got Talent? A wider audience deserves to see your amazing skillset.
Great videos and music, thanks. 👍🏽
Have you considered covering songs by Cocteau Twins, and Tori Amos, and by Sinead Oconner?
I’ve seen you live! It’s pure talent, don’t sell yourself short! Come back to Brooklyn. Jersey actually would be better!
