when your saved by grace it is because Jesus gave up His position in heaven as Son of God to become son of man and then overcame our fallen rebellious nature then died for penality of sin with out commiting a sin these actions is how we are saved by grace

How can we explain eating on the sabbath day? (like putting something in the oven/stove).
The aim of preparation day, is to prepare all that you can so that on the sabbath day, you do as less as you need to do. In regards to heating and pre-heating things in oven or on stove. There are different, opinions, rules, and different traditions different groups or religions observe. One must seek guidance at God and His word for light. Personally I have no problem heating a food that has already been cooked. But this is my personal take. But, I won;t cook on the sabbath. You don't have to see the sabbath day, as a day of do and don'ts. If you prepare for it, you will see that the emphasis is on the things you do with and for the Lord on that special day of rest. What people don't understand or know,the Ten commandments was ij existence in the Garden of Eden. When Adam sinned and broke all Ten commandments,there was no way,God was going to change or alter His own Law.

I’m so confused!!!! You talk about the 10 Commandments as law law and then we need to keep the law but what about all the Commandments in the first five books of the Bible you don’t eat pork so what about all the other commandments and laws feast days etc. do we keep them too? What is the difference between the 10 Commandments in the law and what scripture separates them if it is separated or are they all to be abided by?

Hi. There is a distinct difference between the law of God and the laws of Moses.
1. The 10 commandments were written by God with His finger. The laws of Moses were written in a book by Moses. This book Moses wrote is what contains all the laws you asked about; feasts, dietary laws, etc.
2. The 10 commandments were kept in the ark. The book of Moses was kept beside the ark.
In Deuteronomy 31:24-26 Moses called the book of law that he wrote “a witness against thee”. In Colossians 2:14-17, Paul says that the “handwriting” of ordinances that were “contrary” and “against us” were nailed to the cross. But only the laws that were a shadow of Christ sacrifice on the cross.
There is the differences between the 10 commandments and the law of Moses as well as how you know only the laws of Moses were nailed to the cross.
Many of the “laws”( Torah ) are explanations of the Ten. I’ve seen the actual “count” of commands they list in this supposed 600+ and am struck by the obvious. Many of these are to priests, kings, women, men, or other which don’t apply to our specifics. Also, they ALL apply equally to men and God.

Hello Friend. When it says Jesus sits at the right hand of God, it means that He sits in a position of power (see 1 Peter 3:22; Luke 22:69; Daniel 7:13-14; Revelation 11:15). It is not referring to a physical geographical location. If He literally sat at God's right hand, then He could not move, otherwise He would not be at His right hand.

Hi Domanick. The ten commandments are the 2 commandments summarized. And the 2 commandments summarized are the 10 eternal principles in which God governs His universe with. They are stored in the heavenly sanctuary in the most holiest of holiest and God wrote these principles in the hearts and minds of all His creation.

Why the God of Israel instructed Joshua to slaughter the people of Canaanites and take their land. Wasn’t this against the Ten Commandments from God through Moses? Thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not covet (neighbors house), thou shalt not covet (animal, slaves, or anything else includes land). If God is love and There is only ONE God, why Jesus in the New Testament was so different than the God of the Old Testament in this context.

If you study carefully, you will discover, the God of the old testament is the same God of love, as the one of the new testament. He that has seen the Son, has seen the Father. The Father is in Me, and I in the Father. The Son is the only one that truly knoweth the Father, and the Father is the only one, that truly know the Son. I and the Father are one. They are one in purpose, mind and action.

Also, the massive slaughter of beasts in place of sin is issue.
The “sacrifice” is supposed to be “Living”, and made by the individual, not leading to blood.

If you study Revelation, there is more vengeance against all the people of the world who don't accept him than there ever is in the O.T. If you do a complete study of every situation in the O.T. where God had to destroy certain people, and tribes or nations, God always sent someone to try and turn them back to him, when they would turn from their wicked ways then he pronounced judgment on them and they were destroyed, not to mention the Canaanites were sacrificing Children in the cruelest way to their God's.

The Ceremonial Laws were not nailed to the cross. The Curse of the Law, for having broken the Law, was nailed to the cross. Yeshua became a sin, & acursed, by drinking the cup of iniquity in the Garden of Gathsemeny & by hanging on a tree. The ceremonial Laws will become in effect once more during the Millenial Reign of Messiah, when He acta as King and not High Priest. He will set before Himself Levites who will once again act as priests. The Feasts, or Appointed time of God are not done away with. They are an ordance forever. They also will become mandated for all during the Millenial Reign of Messiah. None of the Law is done away with. Yeshua was very clear with that in His statement which you yourself quoted in that He did not come to abolished but to fill up.
Hi Irene. You write that the ceremonial laws we're not nailed to the cross. My question to you is: Do you sacrifice lambs doves etc still for the atonement of your sins? If, your answer is no, what does that say about the validity of your assertion?
