2020 Spearfishing Review

A very different year but still managed some fun dives locally as well as a trip to Croatia in the summer. Here are my spearfishing highlights from 2020...

What a season Kevin,so many great fishes .Never seen so many seabass here .Happy new year ,with more sea .Keep up the good work.Cheers bro !

Thanks Antoni 😊 For the last few years we have had restrictions on catching seabass and the population is recovering very nicely. There is a closed season and then a 2 fish bag limit which is plenty in my opinion. For the last 3 years or so I have been seeing far more bass than previously. The bag limit makes one more selective and I am also enjoying trying to film the fish without a gun. 😊

Awesome! What a machine!
What weight was the biggest seabass? My record her in Spain is 6kg but that was a once in a lifetime fish for me it seems!!

Thanks! 😊 The biggest bass in this video is 11.5lb or just over 5kg. The wide angle GoPro lens sometimes makes the fish look bigger 😊
