I have exactly the same tape but the sound comes out only on the right speakers. Any idea of what the problem is :( ?

prob on your casette player you have the volume on only the one speaker.
you need to isolate whether the problem is in the amplifier switching or cables somewhere or in the cassette deck.
Swap the L&R cables at the deck, if it moves then the deck has a problem. If the dead channel stays the same, then deck is OK. If it moves the fault lies in the deck.
Swap the L&R cables at the amplifier. If the problem stays the same, it is a amplifier switching problem. if not then one of the cables is bad.
If its in the amplifier, you know from the record player that the output is working. So try different inputs like AUX or TAPE or TUNER if you have them.
