My advice is to watch the videos more than once; to get a really good idea of the roads you will be asked to drive on and where any pitfalls may occur. The test routes are subject to change periodically, however they rarely change completely it is more likely they will slightly alter. Also if there happens to be a road block ahead; due to road works or an accident for example; your examiner may alter the test route in order to save time or in the interest of fairness for this reason the video should be seen purely as a guide. This means you are not guaranteed to stick strictly to the route in the video.

I’ve got my test and I am really struggling with nerve management. I’m from Anniesland.

Try to watch all the videos before your test.
Imagine going on a driving test and feeling confident enough to deal with any situation on the road.
Imagine the examiner telling you that you drove really well and have passed your driving test.
Imagine the freedom of being on the road by yourself and feeling confident.

It might be even more handy if the Sat Nav used is the same TomTom examiners use

Regarding your comment about using the same TomTom device as examiners, I would like to clarify that TomTom is primarily a brand that specializes in GPS navigation devices and software. While TomTom offers excellent navigation capabilities, they do not offer screen recording functionality that we could use to create videos.
As a result, we have been using our mobile devices to create routes and upload them to share with our audience. However, if you know of any TomTom devices that offer screen recording capabilities, please do share the details with us so that we can explore the possibility of using them to create videos.
