@@perfectlyimperfect9129 Maybe I'm trying to rationalize the irrational, but I find the idea of a dogman more believable than anything truly paranormal. As much as it kind of defys natural selection the idea of an upright canine makes more sense to me than actual monsters

I know I just commented about the Rocky Mountains but completing the Appalachian trail is my dream! Fun fact: some of the caves there are so old that life forms didn't even exist yet! There aren't even fossils to be found. The Appalachian Mountains are older than life! Literally. I've lived directly north of the mountains (I've lived all over honestly) but never got the time I wanted to really get into the mountain range. What a magical place!
My favorite cryptid. We have alot of encounters up here in Wisconsin, Being native and growing up on the rez I've heard alot of stories. If the elders are talking, it's truth and even more terrifying hearing it from them
Oh wow - this is new?!! I’ve been listening to old videos. I was shocked I had an unwatched dogman video. But now I know why! Love dogmen / dogmans / dogfolk??? so much
At this point the veridity of these stories doesn't matter anymore. You're my favorite narrator. The stories aren't always good but they're always narrated well. Scary stuff!
I was so excited to finally be able to get to listen to one of your post's only 3 hours after being posted. Especially after binging and listening to you podcast's on Spotify after stumbling happily so onto you videos. I can't get enough of these stories especially dogman, werewolves, wendiboys and skinboys. So happy I could cry. Thank you for staying creepy and making my life more enjoyable! You are amazing Darness! 🥰🥰🥰
Great work as always brother! Some of the encounters folks have told me about Dogman and truly terrifying, those things are nightmare fuel. By the way, I had a good laugh at around 33:07 with the Deckard Cain /Diablo comparison. Always has, and always will be my favorite game series!
In the first story, I believe that the dad knew and might have seen it. He probably didn't want to say anything about it, which is why he asked if the person in the story wanted to go with him to the equipment shed.
So is it like the first response to put the pigs down if a serious injury happens? Cause they could’ve just given it a cast for a bit to let the pig heal, and ya know not immediately shot it.
@blazeandfriends4955 1.) What in the world does your reply have to do with OP's comment? 2.) You've obviously never dealt with livestock and it shows. They are meat pigs dude. They are typically slaughtered around 5-6months of age. And the risk of the animal suffering because you try to "save" it (even though it's destined for death in mere months) is very high, and that is way cruel. Pigs are rough creatures, in how they interact with each other and even just in their everyday activities. They are not gentle animals able to cater to a broken leg in a cast. And don't forget that they're HEAVY. At that 5-6 months old, they are between 2-300lbs. So again, how do you cast an animal reaching that size? Then to get more into the nitty gritty, the other pigs would likely kill off another with such a substantial weakness as a broken leg if left to their own doings long enough, same goes for casting it. Its still a weakness. Then if the leg needs to be put back into place? That pig would cost a farmer what an entire pen of slaughter pigs would be worth. All in all, livestock with broken limbs are often euthanized. People speaking on things they know nothing about on the internet is far too common. So hopefully you learned something. I know the reality sucks, but it's reality all the same. And just to further clarify by comparison, its not because it was a meat pig. It happens with horses too. Something that is not a (typical) slaughter animal and can be worth wild amounts of money or are valued pets. Look into what the odds of broken leg repair is on them. It's not for lack of care or compassion that people opt to euthanize.
Whenever I hear these "dogman" type stories I can't help but think of throwing a stick to see if they'd fetch it, then giving them a biscuit and saying "good boy"! LOL!
This one time on my family’s deer lease property I going out to take a leak. I heard some rustling in the nearby foliage and looked over. Saw something lurking down in the brush that stood up when it saw me looking. Big wolf lookin creature locked eyes with me n snarled. I was about to run back into the camper van when it started to speak to me in a raspy otherworldly voice. “Come closer” it said. I just shook my head no. “Just a little closer” it said. Again i shook my head no. My heart racing from fear. It snarled n showed it’s big sharp teeth and then said...”Come here”. I replied in a shaky voice “Why?” That’s when it happened....the beast looked me right in the eye and said “Because.....I need about tree fiddy.” It was around that time I realized this dog man was 8 stories tall with a cheap Halloween mask and was clearly a creature from the cretacious era. I said “damn it loch ness monsta I aint given you no tree fiddy now get off this property!”
Definitely Rocky Mountain stories! My family just had a long camping trip in Big Bend Texas and it was a trip! The scariest thing was the random storms that popped up! It nearly blew us off into the desert. But we're now planning a long camping vacation into the Rockies so I'd love some stories about that to get spooked 👻 🩶
I love Werewolf stories and yours are always the ABSOLUTE BEST, DP! The most interesting cryptid, I think...don't you? (I remember a while ago you interviewed your brother who had a run in with a Dogman, which was pretty scary!) Thanks for the excellent video as always. It's been a while since I've checked out your channel, so it's wonderful to hear that you're now a dad! 🙂💗 Take care and I'll definitely start listening to more of your videos! 😁

Love your narrations. I'm a long time listener so much so that even with a distorted voice I can still figure out it's u. I don't know if u are aware that a certain Mr Nightlight has been using your contents as his own
I personally wouldn't recommend speaking to vic cundiff. He usually comes across as condescending and has never actually seen not heard one in real life. I would recommend either Dark Waters (he has heard one in close proximity), or Jeff Nadholny (he has seen one along with some friends).
Imo Jeff post's fake agent stories his channel wasn't doing as well as he hoped so he retells stories over and over again to make channel posting to keep $ coming in. He is also envious of Dark waters and that guy isn't much better he is about money not helping for real.
I love your voice, being listening your videos recently for hours per day. Like I listen your 7-8h long stories through whole night, knitting. I love it! However, for the first time now, I'm actually angry about one of your stories. This video's first one and the person in it. They said they love animals (I love too) but still they grow pigs and send thousands of them to be slaughtered each year. They don't seem to feel bad about any of that, those pigs being killed against their will. Secondly, they felt bad and cried when the pig had broke their leg and was put down because of it? None of that doesn't make any sense! My common country sense just doesn't get that - and I'm from a farm myself. To be honest, I've never understand people who say they love animals and still raise them to be killed and eaten. I would never do that to my animals. I keep them, allowing them to grow naturally old and then put them down when they would need it since I would never torture an animal. Don't get me wrong. I do eat meat at times but way less than I used to. With age my body has start to react on meat like if it was poison. I get fever, swell, get sick, headache, stomachache etc. So I eat only little bit of meat every now and then, mostly white meat but even still. But whenever I do eat meat, I always thank the animal, bless it's soul and body, apologizing about all the abuse humans have make it go through in it's life - being slaughtered against their will too (because, let's face it, no any living being wants to be killed, same as us humans). I know I may sound crazy, but I want to be respectful towards the animal, even after it's death. It doesn't harm anyone to show respect and kindness towards the killed animal and their spirit.
That second to last one is a little odd because it would sound more like a skinwalker or a windigo. But had none of the defining characteristics of either of them. That’s just weird man
I'd be interested to know if you have heard of any encounters in Fall Creek Falls State Park in TN?? Terrain would be perfect for these or big foot. 28,000 acres of woods ..
I'd love to hear Dogman encounter stories from the Adirondack Mountains of NY. I live in the Adirondacks, myself, and have had a Dogman there. encounter.
I live in Kentucky. I would be amazing to hear creepy stories from Kentucky. Especially ones from abandoned mines or even from our extensive cave system like Mammoth cave. As old as those caves are there should be some creepy stuff that has happened there.
I went to job corps out there in Kentucky mammoth cave was the area that underneath our headquarters I went to see mammoth cave a lot of Indian and Native American culture war etc with the westerners it’s great
Haha that girl is crazy. “A glance would be enough. I get very lonely. One time the Boogeyman left me a note saying ‘How much is enough? You’re 30 years old, I can’t keep doing this’ and then never came back again.”
I think I've seen one once after hunting. 2 years ago after not seeing anything and it getting dark, I decided to walk the 5 minutes back to our hunting cabin. I opened the door and walked down the stairs I got to the middle of the field when I turned around as though I felt I was being watched, when I turned around I looked at my stand and on top of my stand stood a humanoid figure but it looks wrong it was tall unnaturally tall I was still about 3 minutes away from the cabin and wearing hunting gear made me slow. I watched it jump off my stand and dissappear into the darkness of the forest. Even though I had a gun I was scared, I knew predators run after prey that run away and turn there back I decided to slowly walk to the cabin the entire way back I heard something running around me I got back to the cabin. I shut and locked the door and sat down in my room where there was a window at the end of my bed. Later that night I woke up with a bad feeling of being watched, I looked out the window and there it stood staring at me through the window. Stood there for 5 minutes before leaving, who knew how long it stood there staring. I left the next day and haven't gone back since.
Darkness Montana is a wonderland, I’d love to hear stories about the little creatures of the priors. Personal family members have seen them, they’re not a hoax or fantasy, they exist!
If I was a hunter or like to hike i would have silver bullets and knife also an ark with arrow in silver i always believe in all this supernatural stuff and always be arm when am not home for anything maybe survival or i like to be ready specifically out in woods
Wait, the first story guy “tears up” for a pig who gets to be quickly put out of its misery due to a broken leg - yet the rest of the pigs are “slaughter house piglets” and doesn’t tear up for them on a regular basis 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️. Poor piggies 🐷 💔
Please tell Cphilly100 that Vic is great to reach out too, but also Jeff Nadonly. They both can definitely shed some light on this and help her. They both have helped so many. I pray she'll be alright, and I'm so very sorry she and everyone else who has had an encounter with any cryptid. And both Dogman and Werewolves can climb trees.
I'd like to hear stories that take place in the San Luis Valley in Colorado where The Great Sand Dunes National Park is located--lots of great possibilities, including UFOs, mysterious cattle/horse mutilations, strange "invisible" lizard-like creatures, etc. 😊 Oh! And La Llorona. 😳😳😳
I would like to hear stories of native tribe around the world. I think those are the best stories even though they might have some truth to him not all. But it's part of the history of people don't understand worldwide of the weird and creepy
The dogman is what got me into your channel. This was the first crypid that truly creeped me out and got me addicted to these stories.
I'd never want to come face to face with any Cryptid but The rake or crawlers freak me out more than the dogman .
@@perfectlyimperfect9129 yeah, anything that looks more human than animal, but you can tell easily isn’t human is always the creepiest.
You guys know you don't have to call me "dog man" right? Steve will be fine.
@@perfectlyimperfect9129 Maybe I'm trying to rationalize the irrational, but I find the idea of a dogman more believable than anything truly paranormal. As much as it kind of defys natural selection the idea of an upright canine makes more sense to me than actual monsters

Your dogs sound awesome! I have 2 Labrador Retrievers. The black one is a big baby and the yellow one is a derp!

Me too, love Dogman stories
I'm always down for more Great Lakes stories!! Especially Michigan!
I love dogman stories.
Me too. They are so good
As long as I only hear the stories, and don't become 1.
THAT MAKE US ALL BROTHAS
I recently read the scariest Dogman encounter I've ever heard
I love true dogman stories also, too bad most of the the stories from this channel are garbage creepypasta
I honestly would love to hear stories from the Great Lakes. I bet there is a lot of interesting folklore based around them.
Great upload darkness, thanks man.
First here I love your content the Crytid stories are so cool and interesting keep it brother
Thanks for the time stamps, helps me keep my place when I leave off for when I get back. Best stories ever!❤

Oh my god, that's the first time I'm so early on the story! Sure it will be great as allways
How about the Olympic mountains in Washington state❤
You and lighthouse are the best narrators that I've come across thus far.
Hi darkness hope you’re doing well God bless you and your family honey❤
I'd love to hear the hauntings of the Teutoburg Forest, Germany. But anything from Darkness Prevails is always A+ 👌🏻 💯
A lot of ancient energy from thousands of years to haunt that place.

As someone that lives in Colorado, an episode dedicated to the strangeness here would be cool.
Second this request 🫶🏽 coming from a Colorado native 🏔️
I'm in NOCO. I give this another vote!
There basically is a few in his library, if you look back at his old stuff. You won’t be disappointed.
What kind of strange things happen in Colorado?
Care for explain? Just curious what weird things go on in Colorado
Would love to know/hear if there are sightings of Dogman in Northern Arkansas. More specifically, mid northern Ark around the Bull Shoals Lake
I've been reading about and listening to encounters for years and I've heard of it in all 50 states, including Alaska and Canada and Europe.
You definitely don't want to venture in the woods with no weapon!

@Justin Kenney I know. He's covered dogman before too but I love the stories and if anyone has recent things to add, I'd love to hear about it!
Thank you Darkness!!! I love these types of stories!!! Dogmen and Werewolves. Can't go wrong there!!! 🌹♥️

I haven't heard that one do you know what video it was or whatever?
Dogmen and werewolves are two entirely different creatures.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video very much. Cryptids area particular interest of mine.
Fresno is 40 minutes from me, I actually have family living there. it’s crazy to think these creature’s are coming into the outskirts of town. All train track are on the west side of Fresno. I believe he saw a Werewolf, these creature’s have human looking leg’s and no tail.
I’ve heard of Dogman encounter’s in Sanger closer to the mountains as well in Avocado Lake. It make’s sense because these creature’s travel next to train track’s and river’s.
Werewolves have tails dogman don't hence why they call them the dogman.
I love this channel
I live in Northwest Arkansas and seen something in the town I live in . I remember that storm . I seen something similar in the town I live in , not the same time frame though . Thought I was the only person around here to see such a thing . Glad to hear I am not alone ...
Allegheny mountains in PA. Around Erie
Love your narrations. I'm a long time listener so much so that even with a distorted voice I can still figure out it's u. I don't know if u are aware that a certain Mr Nightlight has been using your contents as his own
St. Louis, MO …. I finished writing mine from Cahokia Illinois just across the river. I’ll send it to you soon.
I don’t know if there are any, but some stories from the grand canyon area would be nice. Always having a grand time listening to this while in bed.
I'd like to hear stories from Iowa. Where I live.
All great stories! Very enjoyable! I love these types of tales. Thank You!
Yes darkness my old friend good to hear your stories again xD
My favourite topic of yours darkness. Thanks man!
More Colorado stories please!
Awesome as always Darkness keep up the awesome work.
Hell yeah thank you so much darkness your da best your also one of my favorite youtubers
Damn a Swedish dogman, thats a bit too close to my neck of the woods, now I beter not go outside after dark :/
Another exquisite video with interesting stories. Excellent!
I would love something about the Vermont, western Mass, upstate NY area. I am in southern Vermont and we definitely have some strange things
Yes, more werewolf/dog man stories 💯
Starting the video with a clip from Dog Soldiers would put this over the top💀
They're werewolves, not dogmen.

Love to hear about happenings in Yellowstone National Park! Thanks!!!😊
The Dogman are my favorite Cryptids.
I mistook them for Werewolves before.
As someone who’s hunted many times, the 2nd story stood out to me. You really never know what is gonna be in the woods 😬😂
My corgi named Holly-the-Christmas-Puppy loves to listen to your stories.
I seen dogman in my back yard last year very dark looking things they love Scooby snacks alot
I love your voice, being listening your videos recently for hours per day. Like I listen your 7-8h long stories through whole night, knitting. I love it!

ZZZZZZzzzz
Lassen national park it has vast forests many little lakes and has sulfur pits and of course lassen the volcano 🌋
That second to last one is a little odd because it would sound more like a skinwalker or a windigo. But had none of the defining characteristics of either of them. That’s just weird man
Probably a Fleshgait which is a more basic variant of the skinwalker
A fuzzy chupacabra 😅 lol you’re the best Darkness
I'd be interested to know if you have heard of any encounters in Fall Creek Falls State Park in TN?? Terrain would be perfect for these or big foot. 28,000 acres of woods ..

I went to job corps out there in Kentucky mammoth cave was the area that underneath our headquarters I went to see mammoth cave a lot of Indian and Native American culture war etc with the westerners it’s great
My little fur baby also looks like a chupacabra or a little werewolf too! He is only 12lbs (yorkie-pom) but he thinks he is the real dogman. Lol
Haha that girl is crazy. “A glance would be enough. I get very lonely. One time the Boogeyman left me a note saying ‘How much is enough? You’re 30 years old, I can’t keep doing this’ and then never came back again.”
Yaah my evening scary stories
This is the only Darkness I like.
Duuddeeee been waiting for some Dogman stories!!
These are great
It'd be nice to hear about werewolf sightings in Indiana. If you can find any.
I would like to hear some stories from missouri Ozarks and from around st louis if you can. Thanks for all the stories.
Damn I wouldn't go back either.
Love the intro they are always funny ❤️ best narrator out there! 👍
i would love to hear stories or a story from Oregon near the coast
The few people who've managed to kill a Dogman, have always shot in the head/face, I don't know why so many people go for the chest.
Darkness Montana is a wonderland, I’d love to hear stories about the little creatures of the priors. Personal family members have seen them, they’re not a hoax or fantasy, they exist!
People have been killed and eaten by these dogman creatures also don't forget the missing 411 cases
If I was a hunter or like to hike i would have silver bullets and knife also an ark with arrow in silver i always believe in all this supernatural stuff and always be arm when am not home for anything maybe survival or i like to be ready specifically out in woods
Love to hear more about things happening in New England
Wait, the first story guy “tears up” for a pig who gets to be quickly put out of its misery due to a broken leg - yet the rest of the pigs are “slaughter house piglets” and doesn’t tear up for them on a regular basis 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️.
Poor piggies 🐷 💔
I want to hear stories from Utah, I had my 2 encounters in Oregon. I now live in Utah and am interested in hearing some from here
Please tell Cphilly100 that Vic is great to reach out too, but also Jeff Nadonly.
The invisible lizard things sound interesting. Any more info that would help me find that/those account/s?
@@carriechappell9623 There is a book that I believe is called "The Mysterious Valley", and it details the lizard-like creatures in one section.
Been waiting for this
Don't fear the one who can destroy the body, fear HIM who can destroy both body and soul in hell.
