I can see a white screen before launching the splash screen I don't think it's a great way to implement the splash screen and I think it can doable by app theme something like that

if you dont use finish it will stay in back stack, you can also use intent flags so that you can control different types of behaviour which to keep, both keep, one keep etc methods

there could be a mistake(error, bug) on next screen so crashing on previous screen
