me too, both bridge are at the exact same height. there's some promo image image that show this in the catalog. The 2 combined together make a very large castle.
my father gave me money and i went to the store down the street and i bought this for my birthday!!as a far memory ,until today i was remembering that i had a "castle",but it is only a bridge! haha
That plate pretending to be a bridge always bothered me. I took ideas from Lego set 6089 and built a much better bridge. Even with the incorrect shield label still a great and memorable set.
Great review! I am curious, how do you store your Lego sets? In Ziplock bags disassembled? It's just I'm trying to find the best way to store my rare Lego so in long term its good condition remains.
I store them in Ziplock bags. I put figures and easily breakable rare parts like flags inside smaller ziplock bags within the larger ones. If I have the box I'll put the ziplock bag in that, if not I just leave loose sets inside a larger cardboard box inside their bags. Baseplates usually stay outside the bags so they don't get bent.
For me personally, Ninjago is getting so old. I can't explain why, but it never really interested me. Yet it lingers, fills Lego aisles, and just never goes away. It's nothing against it - I understand, it's successful, so they doubled down. Makes financial sense for them. But man, I wish they'd call it good and move on.
Yeah, there really isn't enough weight on that bridge piece to swing freely. Mine does the same thing. I'm sure they all do lol. Still not too bad of a set, though. Great to use for MOCS
little bit of headcannon. I like to think the Dragon masters are an offshoot of the black knights. Kinda like how the fright knights were supposedly a rebel fragment of the royal knights.
I used to attach this to the actual drawbridge of the 6090 castle.
Love this set and the castle. Great theme.

Such a cool set! So cool to see these reviewed 👌👍

Thanks for posting your videos like this, on Fridays in the early evening.
It then feels to me like a little reward after the week at work. :-)
Nice! That was my first set of LEGO when I was a child! 🙂
This is the set I would love them remade today. With some added bricks and details this easily could been todays set.
Possibly the biggest flaw with the Royal Drawbridge is that it isn't a Drawbridge 😅 i like the design of the back Tower very much tho
Such a cool set

@@BriansBricks thank you very much for the reply! I eagerly await your new Castle reviews!
Man, it was my first lego set from Castle series when i was a kid, and i loved it!
Me too!
I wish we'd see some more fantasy castle builds in modern lego, as much as I loved the recent Ninjago series, it was more about dungeons and stuff
Elves say hello.
