That was amazing. I remember how he faced such a reactionary backlash when they announced he was headlining the show! And yet he arrived there unbothered asf. And then Beyonce became the first African American female artist/ the first woman, period, to headline that festival. He ran so she could fly and she killed it! They both did.
Reminder : The roots and foundation of rock & roll music is black American music, tradition and culture. One branch became hip hop the other is what we all call rock & roll. This was an argument about whether a rapper should headline Glastonbury is that right? Oasis have written many incredible songs but all great musicians generally love other genres. I'm more of a doves fan when it comes to Manchester bands and they were always very vocal fans of dance music.
I think maybe one Gallagher perhaps wanted to headline Glastonbury and threw his toys out the pram and into the canal.
