Yes, enlarged pores can be hereditary. I know mine are. Both my mom and dad's side of the family has enlarge pores and very oily skin. They look younger a lot longer, but dealing with oily skin is frustrating indeed. This should work for you! Make sure you face is nice and clean and I also like to make sure I put a warm towel over my face as well to open the pores up a bit. I did that the first time and it sucked out so much that way. Take your time and make sure you get a good suction. Certain areas of the face are a bit more tricky but as you can see, if you contort your face a bit you can make it work lol.

Haha! I LOVE it! The flowers were a huge hit. In fact I was the ONLY vendor besides the venue staff that showed up..... Um, their wedding day did not go super smoothly between the snow and Covid.... I felt terrible for the bride :(

Hi Melanie I can tell from just watching that this won't be suitable for my fragile, dry, mature, rosacea and eczema prone skin. Anything with suction is a no for me - I get enough visible capillaries with the rosacea. I'm glad you like it though. For tougher oilier skin prone to blackheads etc it's probably really effective, but I think I would caution those with sensitive skin or redness prone skin against it. If I buy a device at all it will probably be a red light therapy device, but ouch they're spendy. The only device I have is a Foreo in the white ultrasensitive version no longer made - it has no nubs and just relies on the sonic cleansing. I use it for a deeper clean once a week although I double cleanse most nights. For me the Foreo brings some flushing as it improves the circulation, so I use with caution due to the rosacea. It is a temporary increase in redness and dies down quickly. My skin gets red just touching it though. The title of the video drew me in, but this isn't for me or my skin type. I'm glad you're so excited about it though and pleased with the results. Best wishes.
I'm so glad you've found a system that works for your delicate skin. I agree that this one is NOT for delicate skin at all. It would be too much. If you were to do it, I would go see an esthetician for the treatment. When Penny did mine it felt wonderful and she was very careful to lower the suction in specific areas. This is great for those with tough skin. It will be a wonderful twice a month treat for me. Especially since I can't go in for treatments right now

Well with larger pores things are going to accumulate over time, even if you are diligent about cleaning your skin. Something like this is a great once or twice a month treat to really clean things out. I notice that my skincare is absorbing a bit quicker since using this device. I feel like my pores are just eating the skincare up now lol.

You could do anything that works for your dry skin as long as it's the consistency of water. Nothing with an oily feel or anything like that. This one from PC might be a great option - go.magik.ly/ml/178uh/
This looks similar to a home microdermabrasion device I bought on QVC a couple years ago. Works well but you do need to be careful if you’re prone to broken caps.
This is my biggest REGRET purshade of 2020 😩😩😩😩 Ended up bruising my Face , And the vacuum pulled so hard on my pores and actually endes up strenghing my pores making them even BIGGER 😩😭
Oh no! You do definitely have to be careful with sensitive skin. My friend Penn actually just suggests using the first setting or second, that the third is almost too strong. My skin is pretty tough so no problems for me around my nose but I can see where this is a bit too powerful if you are are not careful. Are you using some Niacinamide containing products to help heal your pores up again?
I think you would benefit from this as well, but I would suggest staying on the lowest setting. Older more mature skin can be a bit more prone to broken capillaries around the nose so you want to watch for that. Otherwise, I think any skin type could use this type of deep cleansing periodically. You may want to focus on a hydrating toner instead of the BHA solution they offer. Make sure the consistency is VERY watery and thin.

In fact I actually had a PMD microdermabrasion device that I recently got rid of. It was quite harsh on my skin and I didn't love the way it made my skin red (and I have have pretty tough skin). I found myself avoiding the device after a few months. The hydrafacial feels much more gentle but gives great results in terms of really cleaning OUT my pores. I never felt like the microdermabrasion cleared out my pores, more so exfoliated my skin. I hope that helps!

Actually this was the only one I originally researched. Penn did a video on Insta a little while ago and I asked her if she thought I would actually like it when the company reached out. I really do try to research the companies who reach out to me. I do not want to recommend crap products. She immediately said yes, get it! I am sure there are other devices out there, but this one has been getting great reviews and is so easy to use and effective.
Waaaah! Man, that's like a vacuum for your face! I am totally shocked. LOL! Why does it remind me of the PMD, though? Looks like it's a bit rough. I don't think my skin would be able to handle it (gotta know that about yourself). I think I would be giving myself wrinkles. :(
The PMD (I actually just tossed mine in a recent device clean out) uses a more abrasive micro-crystal covered head to exfoliate the surface of the skin. I never found it really did much in the way of "extractions", although it certainly exfoliated the surface of my skin. But too much for my liking after a while. I just stopped using it a few years ago actually. I LOVE me a good surface exfoliation but it was just too much. Even with the most gentle tip. This forces the solution INTO the pores and then sucks it back out again, actually taking sebaceous filaments and blackheads along with the solution. My skin does not feel raw after using this one. I think there is a place for microdermabrasion but I think I prefer to do that one with an esthetician because it can cause damage to the skin when not used correctly
@@MrKongsMom Gotcha! OK... Now how many teens would you think will take a vacuum to their pores after this. LOL! ;) No but seriously, in the EU vacuums can only be as high as 900W, so not much at all to do very much with.
I’m wondering if the suction would also have a slight skin lifting effect as well over time? Also how would it affect skin causing or making broken capillaries worse? I’m lucky I don’t have any..... I just have elephant thick skin 🤭! Xx
Broken capillaries are a concern for sure. If prone to them I would not use this device in the areas where they tend to occur. As for lifting, i'm not sure about that. But boy does it get everything out of the pores if you deal with enlarged pores. This is the first device I have used that actually easily removes the gunk without any irritation. Even my spatula device leaves some lines on my face for a bit because you do have to drag it across the skin. I always got a good amount of oil and stuff out, but NOT like this!
I think for deeper extractions, the W Skin is going to be better. If I had to only repurchase one, I would probably go W skin because it's a more intense experience.
Updates? This machine has been getting some serious shade. Faulty function and poor response from the company. For those of us who have to purchase these devices with our own money updates are important.
Still using my device and loving it. I use it twice a month. It can be finicky if you don't hold it upright properly but that is easily resolved by correctly holding it vertically like you are supposed to during the entire treatment. I kept doing this and asked the company and they told me the correct way to hold it and have not had a single issue since. If I lost it tomorrow I would replace it (with my own money) because I don't have anything else in my device collection that does what this does in terms of cleaning my pores.
