      There's plenty of knowledge here if you're willing to listen.

    This was a great discussion. Could you talk a little about the "health inspection" that they require? What would cause someone to have their residency denied for health reasons?

    • @lovalona7389
      @lovalona7389 7 месяцев назад

      Someone was denied because they find tuberculosis marks in his chest. Even though he wasn't sick

      They test for hepatitis, HIV, leprosy, syphilis and tuberculosis. They also ask for past medical history. I'm not sure I can provide them with a past history , I dont go to the doctor much ahah :)

      @@lovalona7389 Thank you very much for your response. At least SOMEONE answered me. I see Tuomas acknowledged/answered the comments before and after me, but skipped over my questions. You know this is very important information, especially if you burn through thousands of dollars of "consultancy fees" only to get to the medical part of the application and then get totally broadsided and have your residency denied. I was curious mostly about vaccinations. If they want a full medical history, then I am probably like you. I got a very thorough physical in 1998 and again in 2022 with nothing in between (except for a ER visit for a hiking accident and hospital records for an appendectomy). I try to stay away from "Western medicine" and I am in great health, especially for someone my age. I guess the medical question would be one for their free 45 minute call, but I'm not quite ready to be at the top of someone's funnel or to be put on some marketing lists. Not answering my questions here is not a good look, guys. I've owned a business since 1999 (the year our young hero Tuomas was born) and this year my consulting, book royalties and affiliate income will eclipse my normal business income. I will be ready to relocate in the next 12 months. I was looking at Paraguay as another option and another online guy (an American expat) was making it look so wonderful. When I started to ask questions, his replies were sketchy and fraught with bad spelling and grammar, and he was an American. I thought, how will he be with my paperwork if he is so sloppy with his English and can't reply in a timely way? Well, it's all about the red flags. A group of young kids who want to be consultants might just cost me. So, I appreciate you guys saving me some time by skipping over me here. Next!

    I just moved my tax code to the isle of man so my wife could go outside without me having to escort her around all day. Avoid the risk of having to pick her up from a police station on the way home for being outside without me.

    Has more guidance been given on the arm's length principle yet, please? Hypothetically if my company revenue was AED 125k per month, what is the maximum salary I could draw from this?

    EVERYTHING you need to set up a business in Dubai would include a working bureaucracy, and they don't have that, rather an obscure black market of scamming middleman that ask you for money without any guarantees to make your process work because they "know someone" - corruption in its end stage.
