- Watch my zone 7b raised bed KITCHEN GARDEN grow over 3 months. if you want to know all about the Keter Easy Grow 31.7 Gallon Raised Garden Bed watch this review.
We'll fill our Keter Easy Grow raised bed planters with Pro mix potting soil and add Espoma organic plant food. Shop for herbs and vegetables with me at Pike Nurseries and Home Depot then we'll plant and water our garden. Cherry tomatoes like super sweet 100 tomato grow well in pots but get very tall. Bush type tomatoes stay compact making them a great choice for growing in a container on a patio or balcony.
I'll have to tie the eggplants to the trellis because they're getting HUGE! Gardening in Georgia can get very hot and sometimes dry they need lots of water but the self watering system of the planter helps a lot with that.

Thank You ! What a time saver you were. After reading the instructions😮💨 I felt like I needed a cigarette ... and I am not even a smoker 😂 you were very clear and gave only necessary and very simple instructions. Now, I am ready to plant. THANK YOU 🙂
I LOVE to hear this! I'm so glad you found the video helpful. Thanks for watching!
Hi, your garden looks great, thanks for sharing. I think the reason the plug doesn't work is because you were supposed to fill reservoir with water before you planted the vegetables.
All of your hard work is paying off. Nice work
Thank you, Robert! I'm really enjoying my garden
Thank you for showing how much can be done with a Keter rasied bed! I was looking at doing tomatoes with it!
I'm so glad you found the video helpful! Thanks so much for watching
I am glad to know they survived your winter. I am in SE Wisconsin, zone 5.
This is soo beautiful.....wow
Wow...I love what u r doing
Thank you so much for this video! It was great and I learned so much. I got my planter a while ago but hadn't gotten anything planted. I wasn't sure what to grow in them so I loved seeing the transition from empty bed to the finished garden? You definitely have a green thumb!
Thank you for the video. I have got one of these raised beds and your video is the guideline for me to get planted.
I too, learned a lot from your video. I just bought one of those k e t e r self-watering planters. So thank you again
I love it 🙌🏾🙌🏾🥰👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
What a beautiful garden!!
Thank you so much!
Amazing 😻
I have this bed, didn’t realize how much you can put inside if these. I’ll definitely be adding more to mine!
Thank you for the review. I am definitely going to purchase a couple of these raised planters, they are perfect for the Florida neighborhood where I live. We have lots of little bunnies snacking on plants in the area so the fact that the beds are raised will help with that. My 91 year old mother lives with us so I can see that having these will create a nice activity for her year round. I just wish I was a fan of raw tomatoes, yours look so lovely. At least the hubbie and my mom will enjoy them.
Good video. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for this video!
I read that peppers make bad companion plants for tomatoes. Perhaps that's why yours never grew well?
Thank you so much for this video! It was really nice to see a real garden in the product review. I got the smaller version of this garden bed but now I am rethinking see your lovely garden.
I love the cottage feel , ur raised beds give me . this is how I want to plant too . and thanks for the info

I did my first garden this spring. Mine aren't producing as much. But I do have 1 pepper 1 eggplant and loads of cherry tomatoes. My herbs are doing great. I will definitely be revisiting this as I plant next year. Will you do a fall garden
Do did you plant more
Just bought one of these and I love how you planted yours... beautiful!
Thank you so much for watching! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video
Beautiful garden. I started my first garden Last spring. Did a winter garden too. Lots of shade so my winter plants gave lots more fruit than spring/summer Garden… 😊
Loved your video. Very detailed and you are fun to listen too. Happy gardening! I have to wait until it’s summer, I live in Quebec, Canada 🥶
Thanks so much for watching. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video
You can never have too much basil! I’ve taken to putting it in my oatmeal with berries 😋
Look at you looking all pretty doing gardening with your matchy gloves and earings, Love it 😍 😍😍. Everything is looking so healty and fresh, love seeing the little tomatoes and those 🍆 😀👍🏾 great job my sweet friend. The containers are such a great solution for small spaces too. I’m always happy to see your reviews. Tfs enjoy your produce 😘💕💋
I need those amazing earrings you have on! I love monsteras.
THANKS! The earrings are from a local Atlanta artist and blogger. Check out Kiwi Beauty Store on Etsy
i'm thinking you may have had trouble finding the cilantro because it is a cool weather crop - i'm in NC7b.

I bet you could replace that plug with a little spigot tap for a barrel. Great video! I have that exact moisture meter.
That's a great suggestion! Thanks for watching
love that idea i lost my plug that will work great
Ya did good !
Thanks so much Patty! I appreciate your support
First off, you look so beautiful!!! I love your blue dress and earrings. As for your garden, wow, how lush!!! It’s so pretty. I can’t believe how much it grew. This is my type of gardening. How do you prevent animals from stealing your vegetables? Also, your Thai Basil is no joke. It grew out so much. I feel like it would be impossible to use all of it while it’s fresh. Do you freeze any of the herbs to preserve them?
Lovely garden... great job 👍
Thank you so much. I’m new to gardening. Can you share the type of vegetables that you planted. I want to grow what you are growing. Thank you
Just bought one and already see the need for one or two more. Saving my back and neck! Anyone tried Hügelkultur with this bed?
Great video.....and beautiful veggies! Just curious about something.....do you water through the "floating leaf" tube? I have read several ways people water. B
Hi! I’m learning so much from your Keter raised garden bed videos - do you have a link to or the brand name of the trellis?
Hello! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video.
I purchased those trellises from Home Depot a few years ago, but I don't have the information about them.
I looked on the Home Depot website, but unfortunately, I could not locate them.
Thanks for watching!
I am inspired, especially as a raised garden would be so much easier on my back. And the marigolds to help a bit with insects? I wonder if those eggplant blooms are edible like squash blossoms?
Great question! Eggplant flowers and leaves are toxic to humans, not edible. Eggplant, tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, and tomatillos are members of the Solanaceae (nightshade) family. The flowers, stalks and leaves of these plants are toxic/poisonous because of the alkaloid Solanine. The fruit and seeds are edible. Thanks so much for watching
@@sweetsavant - Thanks for the knowledge share! Keep this great content coming!
How do you water it? Through the hole or on the soil directly ?
Also when do you need to drain it? Thanks in advance
What kind of fertilizer are you using?
Hello, great video. I plan on buying one or two or these and was watching another video and the lady recommended adding water at the base under the soil barrier before adding soil. Would you say that is a good idea?
I haven't tried it but it makes sense to add water to the bottom before adding the soil.
Word of warning when your shopping for the Keter Easy Grow the price has skyrocketed on Amazon. I paid $100 a couple years ago but its now selling for about $180. Shop around at Home Depot or Wayfair
Where did you get the tomatoe fence?
Great job, but... Soil! It's soil ma'am.
You are a sweetheart
Thank you so much for your kind words and thank you so much for watching!
