Absolutely stunning 4K capture of the beauty of these fairly pristine parts of Nepal. Immersive and serene. Added to my non-EBC bucket list. Thank you.

Because of the Dalai Lama's association with the CIA, (credit MIT world history) and the US State Department's funding of the DL's compound in Dharmasula, (credit US State Department website), I'm careful what views I accept. My wife is Tibetan, because there were no roads, bridges, airports, trains, indoor plumbing, hospitals, schools, electricity, or infrastructure under the DL, she had to hike with her sick mother and family from Lhasa to the Chinese border as a 12 year old child. I love the entire region including Xin Jiang, but the politics sicken me.
I am from Himachal, India. Dharamshala is kind of like overrated by foreigners and is nothing beautiful according to Himalayan standards imo. There are more beautiful places like Manali, Parvati Vallley, Lahaul Valley, Spiti Valley, Kinnaur, Ladakh that you could visit. The landscape is more beautiful and the surrounding mountains are way bigger. Although if you do want to visit Dharamshala, try doing Indrahar pass trek if you can or you can go upto Triund.
Thank you for sharing your experience in such an eloquent manner. Insightful and unobtrusive. I see the same scenes I saw in '76 but from the Nepali side. The Himalaya is the home of mindfulness, something humanity needs to regain.
Thank you for your kind words 💛🙏🏻 It touches me to know that I could remind you of your own experience. The Himalayas are truly beautiful and bring mindfulness to any who visit. All the best.
This is also from Nepali side. If i am not wrong, there is no Mansalu trekking route from Tibet. And also Tibet is a plateau and is very dry closer to the Himalayas since those mountains block the moisture from reaching Tibet.

Manaslu Circuit with Tsum Valley is a good one then! There is a circular route called the "Kyimolung Pilgrimage" that crosses through Tsum and Nubri valleys, and into Tibet. You can't do the entire loop unless you have permission to enter Tibet (and a Chinese visa). Thank you! The goat owners are nomadic people. As they are moving around, many goats give birth. When this happens, the owner must carry the goat until the evening. The mother follows the owner closely until they stop. At night they rest, and let the goats feed on a fresh patch of grass. So no worries 😊
The whole border area next to Tibet is more Tibetan than Nepalese. Actually the word "Nepal" meant only the Kathmandu Valley as recently as 50 years ago. There are many places where both trade and social contacts are mostly across the border to Tibet, not Hindu Nepal. Just think of Dolpo, upper Mustang, east Nepal like Olangchung Gola and Thudam region (they do not care about the hindu laws protecting cows there as an example). Even Khumbu is "Tibetan", even though the border traffic has been there suppressed and commercialisation has made the villages look like resorts. Also the languages spoken in those areas are actually Tibetan dialects.
But it's still in Nepal though..so what are you trying to say?!...Nepal can have tibetan dialects and culture too.... Nepal is not a culture, it's a country!

Wham bang, the 7.1 Nepal earthquake struck and there was no airport in Nepal. I called China Eastern and they suggested I trade my ticket for. a different destination. Of the choices, Taiwan proved to have the best connections. I enjoyed Taiwan but wish I could visit Nepal. I'm 73 in September and I may not make it back to Nepal. Win a few, lose a few, and a few get rained out. Satchel Paige.
Everything happens for a reason! I'm sure Taiwan was full of great experiences. Hope you can visit Nepal sometime. Thanks for watching 💛🙏🏻

Thank you so much 💛🙏🏻 Good luck to you too
Supercurti o vídeo de vocês. Tive dó da ovelha que pariu no meio do caminho. Será que o dono levou o filhote recém-nascido com ele?
Thank you! The goat owners are nomadic people. As they are moving around, many goats give birth. When this happens, the owner must carry the goat until the evening. The mother follows the owner closely until they stop. At night they rest, and let the goats feed on a fresh patch of grass. So no worries 😊
@@NicholasEager Que bom. Eu também fiquei preocupada. O seu vídeo é lindo. Parabéns!
@@NicholasEager obrigada pela atenção. Que bom que o dono levou o filhote.
Parabéns pelo vídeo.
Thank you 💛🙏🏻
The landscape is overwhelming with power and beauty
Thank you so much 💛🙏🏻 See you next time 😊
The whole border area next to Tibet is more Tibetan than Nepalese.
Thank you for sharing! I’m glad to know more about such a beautiful region. I hope to visit both Dolpo and Upper Mustang soon 😊
Cow is national animal of Nepal...last year police shot dead 2 Muslims for killing cow....
@@bijayabaruwal4968 In theory bringing beef jerky to Nepal for trekking snack could bring a long prison sentence...
@@tapioportimo2551 not really imported beef can be found here in nepal its just not aloud to slaughter a cow but you can import it
But it's still in Nepal though..so what are you trying to say?!...Nepal can have tibetan dialects and culture too.... Nepal is not a culture, it's a country!
Another masterful film. An adventure and a pilgrimage. Thank you.
Thank you for watching again 💛🙏 More videos in Nepal coming soon 😊
Hi, nice video. I'm thinking of going to Nepal in Oct/Nov and I'd like to do this trek. Where did you find your guide? Also, do you think it's reasonable to do two treks in one trip, I'd quite like to do Manaslu and ABC during my time in Nepal but I don't know if that would be too much.
Hi! Manaslu is a great choice for your trek. Oct/Nov would be a great time to do so too. We found our guide through a friend. Send me a DM if you’d like to chat more. You can totally do two treks in one trip! We actually did that, but didn’t record the second one 😊
Well, if you were here right now. We have forests in the mountains red with rhododendron blooming. Looks really awesome.
