It hurts, but both of the big trades Toronto made should be win-win deals. RJ and Quickley already look really good in Toronto, while the Knicks are 6-2 with OG and he's transformed their defense. Meanwhile, Masai has hit on low firsts before (see Pascal and OG), so those Pacer 1sts can be used to add, at worst, good role players, while Pascal should fill all the holes that Indy has. Casey, the 24 Warriors pick you spoke on is no longer in Memphis possession. The pick was traded to the Celtics in the KP/Smart/Jones trade. The Celtics later traded the Warriors pick with Brogdan and Williams to Portland for Jrue Holiday.
Second time you mentioned that Memphis has GS's 2024 pick. That pick was traded to Boston in the Marcus Smart trade, which was then traded to Portland in the Jrue Holiday trade. It's Top 4 protected though to GS.
Not sure what the Warriors can do at this point, but trading Kuminga seems like a win-win for both sides. Who cares what the fans want their job is to watch the games. The FO needs to make the move to stay competitive, or tear it all down. I don’t envy Mike Dunleavy. Bob Myers kind of left him between a rock and a hard place and he will be the guy who gets scapegoated instead of Bob.
A part of me likes and hates this trade, if the Raptors had given Pascal the max, they would have probably gotten Mathurin and Walker. Also, it does kinda suck not getting, Toppin, Smith, Hield, or Neismith, which I do find weird cause their minutes are going down now because Pascal is in the Lineup (especially Toppin and Smith). But hey, at least they didn't lose him for nothing, so I'll accept this trade. Although the picks are low, this team has a solid reputation for selecting good late in the draft. Ironically the 2 guys they traded are the prime examples (OG 23rd, and Siakam 27th).
Masai has just as many draft misses as draft hits. Besides, the pick they gave up for Poeltl is now MUCH more valuable than any of the picks they got for Siakam.
Pacers wouldn't have traded those guy's. They want to keep all their rotation players together also. Which is exactly why I was initially against it. Unless it was mainly for Bruce Brown and either Nwora or possibly a Jackson. Smith plays C/PF, Jackson will be mostly on the bench. Obi will play backup PF and SF some with Nesmith. Walker is playing with the Mad Ants this year and will mostly play with the G-League like he has to develop. That will change for sure by next season. As I'd expect to see him get plenty minutes at backup PF then. It makes all the sense in the world for them to keep them. Because they're so young. Can resign them and they've already built such an amazing chemistry with eachother. Now we will be feeling this new roster around Siakam out. Then we will know where to go from there moving forward. I understand why you would want them though. But the Pacers wouldn't have done it. I honestly love Pritchard. He makes moves exactly how I would in trades. When it comes to moving pieces. If I was to make that particular trade. It wouldn't have made any sense for us if we'd traded our rotation guy's. Shooting ourselves in the foot with that and I'd rather just waited and signed guy's in FA.

Bro Halliburton is basically on the board and gave the nod for the trade. That’s the power he has. Second The NBA drags outside the top 5-8 aren’t what they use to be. You got to late first round pick and the one 2 years from now that’s going to be another late pick. Have them. As for brown and what’s his face, barely know them on this team. Guys want to play where there a chance to win. This is becoming that team slowly but surely. Our best put together team ever was destroyed by the Ron Artest with the malice in the palace. Which when Westbrook does it’s alright. Though those suspensions did irreversible damage. For almost 20 years. Though we never won a ring, we where competitive team and threat for a decade with good teams. Through the latter part of the 90’s and early to 2000’s. Js
Parallels between this and the Rudy/wolves trade are incredible. Both have a young stud they want to increase the speed to content. Both gave a bunch of picks, Bruce Brown is a better player than any the wolves gave (Kessler was a draft pick not a player yet).
There was never any chance the Warriors were going to trade for Siakim. I said that from the start... because there's no way they would trade Kuminga for a player like Siakim... it's a lateral move. Nobody else on the Warriors can fetch some like Siakim, so it was ALWAYS an impossibility, and I don't even buy that they made an attempt to get him. The Warriors will trade for a mid-level role player, and Wiggins is the most likely trade bait.
It's a good thing pacers got siakam he can play defense, shoot, fadeaway, drive, rebound, pass basically do everything and the pacers might go up in standings, also it means that the Raptors are going full rebuilding mode
" u can have wiggins and a pick for pg " FACTS AF😂😂. We dont wanna trade klay / dray / kuminga / moody / podz or trayce but u can have wiggins, jermome robinson, and cory jo for Jeremi Grant tho :)
You and I are thinking this similar thought. Zach could potentially get the Chris Webber special. Webs was traded to Sacramento years ago when the Kings were a porous team at the time. The Maloofs were new GMS. So they took some very calculated decisions to help get the franchise moving in a serious direction towards becoming a playoff team. Like acquiring Vlade Divac, Doug Christie, Mike Bibby, and other players. Charlotte and the Pistons really have an opportunity to make some very calculated moves to help turn their franchise around for the future. Acquiring a Zach LaVine talent could help either team push either of them in the direction toward becoming a playoff team for the future.
They dont really have much options nothing they can do in the middle of the season Pascal was the best option for them and the off season they dont really have much room trading unless they blow up the roster or do a rebuild best they can do in order to keep Curry is to blow up the rest of the roster keep Kuminga, then sign Derozan and Val then hope Kuminga breaks out next season with more PT. Then sign some role players who can play D like DeAnthony Melton, Saddiq bey or Royce O'neale. Derozan is a good iso scorer and a great passer gives Curry more oppurtunities to score off ball its like having a more skilled livingston and more skilled Bogut in Val.
Tyrese isn't an "ask out" kind of player so Indiana has no worries there. Anyone even questioning that needs to do some more homework on who this man is.
There is a team option in his contract, meaning if this season ends he would be a free agent if the raptors choose to let him go. To me as of now Bruce Brown is like only worth like 10-12 million due to his shooting
I love this comparison to the hawks like the pacers haven’t drafted, signed free agents, and made trades in the past 3 years significantly better than the hawks. Not to mention Ty is a better player, team mate, person etc than Trae. Not that Trae is a bad person, I just think people want to play with Hali more.
man if i was a pacers fan i wouldnt like the idea of paying siakam like a no1 option when its straight up impossible to win a chip with him as a no1 option. hes one of those guys that you kinda have to pay because otherwise someone else will, but you really dont want to.
Masai waited too long... instead of trading LAST SEASON when he might have gotten a top prospect, he sat on the fence and now has a bunch of low picks and some benchwarmers.... great for depth but hardly enough to compete against the Bucks, Celtics and Sixers. The pick they gave up to get Poeltl is going to turn out to be much more valuable than any of the picks they get for Siakam.
one of the 3 first round picks has a good chance to be a top 10 pick. the other 2 almost have no shot of being in the lottery. and none of them will be a top 3 pick (i mean its possible, but VERY unlikely). so what did the pacers give up? a 6-12 pick next draft, a 15-25 pick next draft and probably another 15-25 pick in 2026, bruce brown, nwora, kira lewis. they didnt give up THAT much. i guess saying 3 first round picks sounds like a lot when you dont put it in any sort of context, but it isnt. a spurs frp would be more valuable than all of the 3 combined.
Since Dejounte Murray is linked to Lakers, now I hope we get Kuzma and at least have a decent season. I also think Kuminga has no chemistry with Curry or Green. So, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets traded!!
I'm happy that warriors didn't trade for him. Cuz even if he came he wouldn't be a big help the sinking ship. 2nd round at max. Plus they cannot resign him in the free agency.

Js
i heard for 3 years the warriors trading for siakam and i always told fans i'll believe it when/if it happens and look didn't get traded there
Siakam lookin like captain ginyu
The Warriors will trade for a mid-level role player, and Wiggins is the most likely trade bait.
sad day for the warriors man rip dejan
It's a good thing pacers got siakam he can play defense, shoot, fadeaway, drive, rebound, pass basically do everything and the pacers might go up in standings, also it means that the Raptors are going full rebuilding mode
P struggled all his career to hit 30% 3points, i wouldnt want Siakam to be the guy to take the last shot. hes not a really good shooter dude.
Honestly, Siakam has never been elite. Slightly above average at best
" u can have wiggins and a pick for pg " FACTS AF😂😂.
We dont wanna trade klay / dray / kuminga / moody / podz or trayce but u can have wiggins, jermome robinson, and cory jo for Jeremi Grant tho :)
As a nuggets fan it would be great to steal Bruce from Toronto for a couple of picks and some scrubs.
Go for it... looks like collecting trash picks and benchwarmers is Masai's new rebuild strategy.
Now I starting to think where LaVine could go... Detroit or Charlotte
Warriors better have something big up their sleeves.
Damn he already played.
This is HUGE
Real question is who will get Bruce brown, similar player to Alex Caruso but he is making 23 for two years 🤔
There is a team option in his contract, meaning if this season ends he would be a free agent if the raptors choose to let him go.
To me as of now Bruce Brown is like only worth like 10-12 million due to his shooting
Warriors will not ascend if they dont let go of the nostalgia…
Mavs we’re in the same exact position with Luka. He was so good so fast they went out to get kp. Hoping this works so the Celtics don’t win.
Pacers will regret giving him the max
I heard abt this trade go down when I was in target 😂
I am 1000% confided i did not subscribe to you yet somehow you were in my subscriptions
You should make siakam's headband yellow on the thumbnail
Portland has the Warriors 1st round pick this year, not Cleveland.
Raptors can trade away Brown and combine their picks for a higher pick, and hopefully get a good high pick.
That Poeltl trade was outrageous. I would rather him just say forget the draft and just acquired young players and role players
Poor Lonzo catching up a stray at the end of the video.
They managed to hang on to Matharin so I think Pacers win the trade. The picks are all late firsts from what I understand.
I wish the cavs would've made a move to get him, def type of player they need. Good move 4 the Pacers though.
one of the 3 first round picks has a good chance to be a top 10 pick. the other 2 almost have no shot of being in the lottery.
and none of them will be a top 3 pick (i mean its possible, but VERY unlikely). so what did the pacers give up? a 6-12 pick next draft, a 15-25 pick next draft and probably another 15-25 pick in 2026, bruce brown, nwora, kira lewis.
they didnt give up THAT much. i guess saying 3 first round picks sounds like a lot when you dont put it in any sort of context, but it isnt. a spurs frp would be more valuable than all of the 3 combined.
Warriors pick goes to the blazers, not Memphis. Blazers got it from Boston via Memphis after the dame trade
Why do you keep saying the Warriors 2024 goes to the Grizzlies? It belongs to the Blazers - top 4 protected.
Since Dejounte Murray is linked to Lakers, now I hope we get Kuzma and at least have a decent season. I also think Kuminga has no chemistry with Curry or Green. So, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets traded!!
nonton amhoops sambil ngopi👍
Good move. Congrats.
"Horrible news for the Warriors" Yeah I mean they were going through some other shit yesterday thats more important than some trade.
i thought buddy was gonna get traded. win-win for both teams.
The hawks are not the best example, because Trae has not demanded a trade.
Indiana taxes and cost of living is way less than Toronto's true metropolis vibe. And never doubt the Pacers ability to sign and trade just ask Bruce.
its crazy though, i thought this is amazing for raptors since they have young talent but no
Correction the Blazers have the Warriors first round pick for 2024. Which is also why they will not be trading Jermey Grant to them.
If Warriors can trade Igodoula then they can trade Looney,Klay or Green. Moody is the young piece that can be included since Kerr wont play him
Are they considering Looney as untradeble as Klay and Green?
That warriors first round pick goes to the blazers lol.
I'm happy that warriors didn't trade for him. Cuz even if he came he wouldn't be a big help the sinking ship. 2nd round at max. Plus they cannot resign him in the free agency.
BIG W for the Pacers.
saying the late picks aren't valuable is dumb. remember raptors drafted siakam pick 27
Doesn't portland own golden states 1st top 4 protected in the upcoming draft?
