This song is genius!
Fun fact: RM came with this song drunk, he went to one of his friend's house and recorded without beat or anything. Then was created this crazy production and RM couldn't record again this song because it was really distracting so he literally ended up using that demo drunk version 😳
If you're interested; RM did an hour long interview with Zack Zhang on youtube where he talks about every track and what it means to him and he tells some stories about making some of the tracks and how he got the features he wanted. There is a radio (audio only) version and then they put the video of it up as well.
RM is a genius. And yeah, i think he has changed a little, he was grungier before. Now he's a new RM
This one and Closer are my favorites on the album 😁…this music really illustrated the meaning of the song

Yezza, i think it’s a f* you song too!! That beat change is insane. Hahaha. Change pt. 2’ - the song itself a nod to the impermanence of our world. Buzzsaw synths dip and dart beneath RM’s slurred delivery, taken over by urgent glitches before a clean piano melody cuts through the chaos. The disappearance of distortion at first feels like an acceptance and embrace of inevitable change, but the stumbling final melody reveals enduring doubts and wariness in each new, lurching note.
Ps: RM said Change pt. 2 is not related to Change pt. 1, thou I do recommend to also listen to it.
Evolving as artists is so BTS and the members. RM's "Indigo" is so different from his "mono", which is so different from "RM". The same goes for Suga/Agust D with his "Agust D" and "D-2". The same goes for J-hope with his "Hope World" and "Jack in the Box". An the same for BTS's albums. For all of them, you can really see their growth from one time period to another.
Happily their label gave them freedom to make their own sound. We could see how BTS members grows from teens to young men and their music grows with them💜
