Okra soup must be pepper and the way you cut the Okra is very good i just love how you cook it this is how we cook how Okra. And the pot is very good for banga soup odgolo fisherman soup love it so much
As an Igbo woman you should have said ogili okpei as well to expose people to your culture. Irunis Yoruba and I don't think they ferment theirs...they seem to use it in the seed form...in tiny pieces, which makes it different from the Hausa dawa and Igbo okpei, which are both fermented. This is the first I'm hearing of putting okpei in protein and with that mixed with ginger and garlic. Trying to imagine the taste. But it should be nice knowing okpei makes food delicious. Use okpei/dawa(fermented) in your food and watch the taste soar!!😊
WOW Sister Ify ✨👑✨👸🏽 oil free 🐔Chicken Okra soup sounds soo healthy 😋 and yummy. Love the extra heat🌶️🌶️🌶️and seasoning, it will give the soup a sensational taste especially cooked in a clay pot it will burst with extra aromatic mouthwatering flavours served with a Yummylicious swallow, or of your choice. Love the Spectacular presentation 👌well done Chef Ify 👏🏽👩🏾🍳💐🧡💛💐🥰

Yes, that's the point. If you're trying to cook soup without oil, then be ready to finish it within 30 minutes, cause it'll just spoil in front of you.
@@noblepepple191 True, but it'll still spoil relatively quickly. In my opinion, that's one of the major reasons people learnt to cook with oil over time. It's also evident in our culture. We live in the hotter regions where food tends to spoil quicker and I've noticed our native cuisine tends to contain more oil than that of those who live in much colder regions.

Chicken already has oil, so soup definitely has oil, just not palm oil

@@zoraackerman1684 You can refrigerate it though and preserve if it’s much.
I make this okro with mackerel fish and prawns. The fish releases its oil.

Ify, as a good caterer, you don't cook with yr rings on yr finger, it's not hygienic
