I have the Pioneer MVH-200EX for a few days and really like it. The GUI is simple to use. However, I ran into one issue. When connected via bluetooth, the HU often throw an error code "Error 10". Only way to fix that is to turn OFF and ON the ignition. Crutchfield customer service is excellent. They offered to exchange for another unit. I am thinking of replacing it with the AVH-201EX ($30 more).
Find a way to run that wire to your reverse lights so when you put your car in reverse the back up camera will automatically turn on just as your reverse lights will
Hey CowboyRome! You need the Metra CHTO-02 and METRA Axxess ASWC-1.Hook up CHTO to aftermarket stereo first then attach just the little black box from the ASWC-1. I hooked it up to my 04 Ram 1500 and it allows me to keep steering wheel controls and factory amp that came with truck. You will need a antenna adapter also to use aftermarket stereo. Its not hard just takes time to do. Good luck and only use directions from CHTO-02 and aftermarket stereo.You wont need directions or wires from ASWC-1 just black little box.

Do I need to connect the orange and white wire and leave the orange wire disconnected, or should I forget both of these wires? I know they are for illumination, but I'd like to know how to connect these orange and orange/white wires. Thanks for any help!

I don't know if there is a glitch in the unit or what. Everything plays in alphabetical order. I up graded from a Pyle single din flip out system with SD and Navigation for roughly the same price. I'm thinking about returning the Pioneer and putting it back in. (Update: I returned it about a week ago, just didn't have enough features.)

Is anything else effected? Windshield wipers, power locks, etc? Also what radio do you have? Could be a lot of things, wiring issue when installed, electrical issue with the car, faulty stereo, if its a detachable display sometimes they get a little loose and people don't realize.
I bought a AVH-201EX a week ago brought it back to the dealer but still acting up. When I hook up to the Bluetooth it good but sometimes it goes off and on again it's irritating as hell probably need to take it back again

That's possible! Only issue is you won't have audio. Unless your stereo has rear RCA AV inputs (red, yellow and white)

the jvc double dins already have most, if not all of these features.The eq on the jvc is alot better in my opinion.
