After over 7 years, there's a new record time for SSG pre 1.7 bopping TheeSizzler's old 7:11 from version 1.6.4!
SSG stands for Set Seed Glitchless
Pre 1.7 is any version from 1.0 to 1.6.4
Huge credit to ‪@keimaspeedrun6846‬ because I pretty much just copied their entire route from his 7:29 PB with small optimizations.
Also my first (non-retroactive) version specific SSG record!

Thoughts
This run is definitely not perfect but I'm really happy with this time! I could never bop Sizzler's time back in the 1.6.4 SSG days but with this run I sort of did when you consider SSG pre 1.7! The 4:37 enter end on this run was the fastest I've entered the end in this run. And thanks to that enter end time, an alright 2:16 end fight was enough to get sub 7! This was huge because not even an hour earlier I got a 7:17 which was the former SSG 1.5 record but not the sub 7 I wanted • Former SSG 1.5 record ... . When I started running this version 2 days ago, I would've never thought I'd get a sub 7 this quickly.
The biggest time save for me is still the end fight. Also better runners can probably save time elsewhere on mechanics. However, I'm really happy with this time and I'm probably not coming back to SSG 1.5 unless maybe a new SSG 1.5 seed is found.
