I think the game is going in the right direction. In my opinion they need to bring back the open world map and have different quests and events to complete. And honestly add more difficulty and variety to gameplay mechanisms and bosses. They had a little bit of that with the revolving door mission in the last part of the chapter of the last update. We need more stuff like that
It would be really fun if they make a game mode like Crab champions or Risk of Rain were you go and constantly upgrade and experiment and have fun with different loudout upgrades and see how broken can you make yourself become 🤔! But also goodness gracious they NEED to increase the amount of materials you get because it is so SLOW to get materials and experimenting with all the characters. It feels like I get punished for upgrading certain characters, logistics etc. So they REALLY need to increase how much materials you can get daily.
I dont think it needs more modes, in fact, i think the ones we have right now are too many. They are too simplistic and repetitive. I would prefer just one that is really, really good. Rather then many that are mediocre. The Problem, creating such mode would take years without also supporting the game in its current state on the side.
interesting point you bring up. They do have modes that are very basic and repetitive. And if they could do at least 2 MAX 3 modes that had all of those elements and then some would be a great sweet spot. And great point about the support and development of the modes taking years. But that's just confirms that this gacha game was barebones from the start. So hopefully they take the time to make those big improvements
no, they just updated new event during cherno enigma debut with open world huge map that took minutes to walk. and it have multiple spawn spot for coyote and adventist. it's not optimized yet since the spawn is limited and you had to wait for hours or refresh with premium currency. but i see the potential here. this means creating new feature or game mode like that didn't take years to implement.
Good review, I always liked the game, I don't think they've changed the game much at all though, it was kinda lewd before as well. They made even better looking characters and that's good. I think the story is getting worse however, they're changing characters interaction to be more pander-y, which I sort of dislike, the game had stronger writing before. They also need to make better end game and new better modes Some skins are banger though yeah, also got Haru's BP skin :D
I've been playing since day 1 and only really played Snowbreak because it's a shooter with a grim apocalyptic setting. The characters, the LORE, the world and being the first shooter in the gacha genre is what hooked me in. No, I'm not a fan of the game's current direction. They bend thier knee to everything that the CN playerbase say. As an old warframe player as well, Duet Night Abyss will definitely steal me away and I don't know if Snowbreak will be worth playing at the same time if most of the new content is just fanservice. There's no substance in that. The last good patch was the summer event... which was last year! Removal of eng dub. DNA has english dub with accents. I play in english so I can understand what they are saying mid combat and mid story. You cannot replicate a british accent in japanese.. Operators are limited to one type of weapon. DNA characters can use any melee and ranged weapon. Only Female characters. DNA has male and female playable characters. If they want a wider audience, this is the way. With the recent trailer YOU ALREADY KNOW only horny degenerates will flood the game. It will get popular but only for that very reason. 85% of the trailer was fanservice for crying out loud. You think they will care about the story and lore? Of course not! All the characters have had and will have thier personality change to make it a full blown harem. They even made Tau (the boss of all of them) want a piece of the Adjutant during valentine messages. And no where in the story did they have any romantic approaches.. like bruh. They will take it that far and it won't even make sense. Everything I initially liked about the game will be thrown in the wayside.💀 They dug a hole, found gold (fanservice), but I don't think they can make it back up if most of the players don't want them to.
Why would you make a 3rd person movement shooter? Movement shooters are already unpopular with majority of people, but now you mix it with 3rd person and cover mechanics? How do you expect casuals to havy any fun in this? We really don't need CoD zombies in Snowbreak.
agreed, Snow break needed more time to cook on core gameplay, but they are slowly working on it while being funded by waifus, which is always a great +. Great insight!
