Proud owner of unit #8. Adding it to my rig has rendered me unable to stop playing, just cant put the guitar down. Nicolas S. is the nicest guy, a dreamer/builder of hendrix tones, and he really loves what he does. This might be his breakthrough, I wish him all the best
I have an outstanding original 1968 and this sounds very very close! It is the subtle things that make or break the clones. I've had most, or many, including deja vibes, drybell, effectrode, vibe unit, 60's Vibe, and many more less well known ones. Some people may like one vibe or another for one reason or another, but unless you have a really great original to A/B it against it's hard for people to know which ones are the closest to an original. The oldies handle a boost or fuzz into the front and they don't get small or overly bright. They are strong and uniform thru the frequency spectrum. The pulse or throb shape is critical and depends on the bulb and photocell's,.... how the voltage rises and falls. Some are to round and even or the throb is too pronounced. It should have an elliptical shape and be strong but not to the point of popping or thumping too loud. I'm very interested in this one!
Nothing like the real thing with only the exception of the effectod vibe and the fulltone vibes. Still want this one since I already have the fulltone v2.
Andy that dive bomb 💣 and explosion 💥 Hendrix BOG sound effect was incredible and really spot on. was the dive bomb an open G or B string? I know you have your secrets but I’ve been after that dive bomb tone since 2003 and it was exciting to hear someone besides Hendrix finally achieve that tone! Thanks Andy and I heard a ton of awesome Electric LadyLand bootleg instrumental tones.
Andy, I’d like to know how you get the pedal dead silent when you turn it on. I have a Moon Vibe and there is always the throb sound when you engage it.
@@TheRealcdawg22They are slightly different tonally as well. The Sabbadius website breaks down their differences. I went with the Tiny '68 and I love it.
MojoVibe is a great univibe that is 9v dc but has a built in circuit that boosts it to 18v ,,,,i'm not saying its better than these high end univibes but it sure gives a damn good BOG univibe effect.
Jason Guion should be. They have a Tribute Legacy but it's a lower end model from G&L. Small shop in Fullerton Ca if you're in SoCal they love people to swing on by.
David Andrade thank you. I remember I saw him play this guitar and I think I was unable to find it with the matching headstock, something like that. I kind of forgot about it until I saw this video. I would really like to try one, as it’s a Leo guitar from after he sold the company, you know? I have not had a chance to try one. I live in FL so I sadly can’t go to visit them. Thank you for the information.
Yes i have see the sir henry and shiftee vibe sound very nice so!! But the size of the sir henry or shiftee is big than funky vibe (i think).....love my drybell for this size on my pedalboard....

I was planning on purchasing this but after hearing Andy giving it a go ,I’ll stick to my Kong nuvibe more versatile ,chewy and throb like .Sorry guys!!!
Now I want a T-shirt that says
*Vibe before Fuzz*
*to Enhance Throb*
Watch Etsy, my good man, because I just purloined that idea. Cheerio
I suppose you can have one for free, but you have to trust a stranger danger on the internet with your deets.

Orgullo Nacional, Vamos carajo! Suena increiblemente bien, nada que envidiarle a otros UniVibes de grandes marcas comerciales. Excelente trabajo.
Y hecho en CORDOBA!!! Ahora me tengo que consegir unoooo!!!
You're one of the most entertaining players on YT. You're OG!

Thanks for sharing those excellent points!
Suena realmente bien, felicitaciones al fabricante y a Andy por la demo.
That Pink Floyd slow chorus sound!
Malady Yes, it passed the Breathe test!
THE LEGACY RETURNS!
This is beautiful. Great work, Sabbadius! You too, Andy!
Sabbadius is amazing
As usual Andy you kickass and that pedal is sick!!!!!!
The JTM 45 sounds awesome here
Great Review Andy...always excellent playing!

Andy you make Trower proud (-:
Buenísimo! Alto pedal!
Amazing video
I like the pedal and it has a great sound!!!
I FINALLY FOUND ANDY
I dislike Chorus/Vibrato but this pedal is changing my mind.

Thanks!!! I usually go with G 💣
GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!
Damn that sounds goooood
WANT,WANT,WANT,NEED!!!!!
Vamoooo Córdoba!
lo que es bueno y tiene calidad no importa de donde sea. Es decir, no mezclen patria y pedales de guitarra. El flaco labura bárbaro. Bien por el.
dude that solo at the start 😘
That fuzz is great!
La intro suena re Pappos blues
Is this pedal better than the MXR version?
Andy, I’d like to know how you get the pedal dead silent when you turn it on. I have a Moon Vibe and there is always the throb sound when you engage it.
I NEED IT
Which version is this...68 or 69?
How would you say this compares to other Univibe recreations on the market?
It is superior. Sabbadius does his homework and gets it right! A proper vibe must use AC, a puny 9vDC will not do the job.
@@patrickfoster4586
Or use 18 v
I have a question., i can use any footswitch for this, like a modern shin ei they use for their (vibe bro and psychadelic machine)?
Re vintage, suena barbaro.
suena excelente !!! saludos
Sabbadius vs drybell vs nuvibe...what you think?
Sabadius or nuvibe, I have nuvibe demos in my channel and it's pretty good
Vamos nico!!! Yo tengo un Mr. White. Tremendo!!!
"I pick up my Axe and fight like a Farmer"depois desta....hahahaha
Is this the 68 or 69 Version Andy?
68
@@MrKarim989What is the difference besides +1?

Andy esta es la version 68 o 69?
Para Fulltone que lo mira por youtube.

Great sounding effect: Amazon showing this at: 195$ not bad thanks andy
2015 version
Besides, please consider shopping from PGS or other respectable small business's when possible, rather than mega corporate whores such as Amaz*n.
Where can I find the funky vibe? I can’t find it anywhere on the internet
Hello Greg, these are made in small batches so please contact Nico in the email in the description for availability. Thanks!
DAMN
24v AC ... slam dunk! I never heard a great Vibe running on DC, let alone at 9v ... can't be done IMHO.
MojoVibe is a great univibe that is 9v dc but has a built in circuit that boosts it to 18v ,,,,i'm not saying its better than these high end univibes but it sure gives a damn good BOG univibe effect.
Voodoo Vibe. 9V. Amazing
Is that just called a G&L Legacy? The model name?

Wait, isn't that just a Uni Vi..nevermind. Carry on.
breathe by pink floyd is my go to riff when testing a vibe. If it doesnt breathe, its not for me

At least as good as the Drybell, the NuVibe and the NovaVibe.
