One of the reasons that private universities give so much financial aid is because they are so much more expensive, so they have to give scholarships to get students who aren't rich to attend. For example, my public university in Texas cost $10,000 a year with no aid ($55,000 less than Baylor). My little sister is also starting college and has gotten 3 scholarships in the past few weeks so it's definately possible to get money if you just keep on applying to any scholarships you can find! Even if it's just $500 or $1000 you'll be glad you aren't paying it back after you're working to pay off your loans. Love these videos about applying to university abroad, I bet so many people will get use out of these!
This is really helpful information for me, I'm doing gr11 and I'm planning on studying law in America or the UK...very informative, thank you Side note, she's literally the cutest, I had to stop and subscribe after she asked so nicely in the beginning 😭😂❤️
Hey! I am glad this video helped you. Just a side note, if you want to do LAW in the USA, it takes 7 years. 4 years of bachelors first and then afterwards you apply to Law School. You don't just go straight to law school.
Yesterday I found out I have been accepted to Augustana College in Illinois, US, with $42k in scholarships. I still have to pay $21k a year after the scholarships. Crazy expensive.
@@Justagirl0916 Applied to a few places from a high school in South Africa. Eventually got admitted into Princeton, so I'm there now. You apply to US unis through the Common Application.
Hello. I have a question regarding San Antonio College. They require international students to have a minimum of $25 000. You mentioned you got 100% funding from them. Did you apply using the CSS profile or the university?
Sorry, i liked your video.. Is ver helpful! But i have some doubt: If when had showing my conditions to live in USA, and they see that i don't have conditions to live there, will they reject me, or they also help in this part?@@LeboneM

If you need funding from any school, you use the CSS Profile. I still had to show I have the funds to be able to live in the USA.
