I received many questions about this process, so I wanted to provide a step-by-step guide and share the mistakes I made in the past when applying for scholarships. I feel like all these videos say the same thing but I’ve literally not seen any scholarships for the program I want. I want to do an online masters in translation but Chevening does not accept online programs and although my country is part of the commonwealth it’s not one of the accepted countries for any commmonwealth programs. I’ve looked for over a year and found nothing that makes sense. Most scholarships are also not even geared toward humanities and education programs 😢

it is always perceived and even propagated by the visa consultancies that you should write that you will be returning to home country in college applications even though you won't and will be working in the UK itself after completing studies. Is it the same case with scholarships as well? and what did you mention in your application , were you straightforward about your aspirations to stay and work in the UK itself ?

Hello it depends on the scholarship you’re applying for and the requirements. Some scholarships state clearly that you must be willing to go back to your country after your study while some don’t. Hope this helps

If you’re given a fully funded scholarship that covers only your tuition fees and does not cover your living allowance; you may have have to show proof of funds.

Some universities accept TOEFL as a proof of English language requirements, so it will be best to check from the university you’re applying to

Hello it depends on your preparation; mine took me about 2 months because I’ve applied for scholarship’s previously
So there is no set time, my advice would be to give yourself enough time before the application deadline
