This is a brand new single supporting the new Velvet Meadow album out July 30th! Lots of cool new groovy psychedelic sounds coming. Took a. Lot of inspiration from Australian bands like tame impala, king gizz, and babe rainbow. The album is centered around the overall theme of Alice in wonderland using a characters as metaphors for life things.

I dunno why but I find pre digital recorded film really hypnotic when put to music and can tell you a tape man urself so much love from England! Hezayka news is a guy who uploads old news reports as far back as the 50s usually of the moral panic variety and is ripe for mining if you don’t already know of him? I try to post a link. I’m a dawless synth tinker man myself so am curious? What are you producing your music in? Logic, GarageBand, Cubase 🤔 thanks for reply and stick with it! I gotta feeling you might blow up big!

@@oldschoolcockneylover8138 the crazy thing is when I first heard his music, I was like 18 and currents hit everywhere. I was super into just 60s psych at the time. I hated his music at first because I didn’t like mainstream pop and I didn’t give it a good listen. When I found his fist EP I was hooked, and then I chronology listened to all of his albums. Now currents is in my top 10 favorite albums lol. Out of his work so far Lonerism is my fav. That album was a HUGE inspiration for my new album coming early next year!

Thanks homie! I made it on a cold Sunday morning sometime early last year. It was during a horrible writers block month and I woke up, poured myself a cup of joe and started writing. I wrote 4 tunes including this one, another new one that’s coming late this year called “slowdown” as well as another called “I got you babe”. For this one I wanted to write something lyrically that meant something to me. It is about the everyday struggles of people with money (including me), and how I wish I could do music full time.
