A Tour of the "Heart" of Old Panama City Beach

This video is an expanded version of one of the earliest videos on this channel. It includes far more images than the original. - West Panama City Beach was the site of much development in the 60s. It was home to Miracle Strip Amusement Park and other popular attractions. Of all the attractions seen in this video only Goofy Golf and Shipwreck Island remain in operation today.

My first trip was probably 72? I remember petticoat Junction, miracle strip. Back when you could actually smell the ocean. Five or 10 miles before you got there!! oh and my senior trip in 1985!!

Really enjoy the channel! How about a “Then and Now” video…show stills of attractions like Sky Ride,MSAP,PCB Tower,Sui-Slide,Ect and then show what’s in the current location.
BTW,my Dad lives in PCB since 98 and I lived there in 2004,my favorite place on earth!!!

Soo many memories. Class of 90 and late 80s and 90s we came 3 or 4 times a year. Lived with my aunt and uncle in Lynn Haven from about 84 to 86. What's the first song?
