I love Panama City Beach. I grew up going there and everytime I go I have to best time and I feel at home there. It’s alittle crazy sometimes but it’s a great time and it’s beautiful.

Went here back in 2018 with my family and we actually drove 20 hrs all the way from Maple Grove, MN. It was awesome vacation experience! Such a beautiful place. Glad we’re going back and driving there again this year in August. Hoping for no terrible storms though during our stay.

@@lisamartz4830 Well tbh it wasn’t great for me personally because we stayed at the hotel the whole week but was literally on the beach. A fishing pier was about 20 min walking distance but didn’t see people having luck. Guess it just depends where you have access to fishing. I would just hire a charter guide and go offshore.
The Mahi-Mahi BLT from Pineapple Willy's is AMAZING. I could eat that every day. We're going back the first week of September to stay at the Laketown Wharf resorts right across the road from Pineapple Willy's. I plan on grabbing one of those BLTs as soon as we pull in that evening!

The reason why I ask is I have been hearing that a lot lately in certain beach towns of Florida. Just curious to know cause I will be traveling there this summer for a long vacation possibly 2 weeks or more and of course it would be good to know ahead of time if I need to plan on having more cash on me then say I normally would when traveling. Anyways if you have any insight on that please do share and once again great video and I look forward to many more from you. Thanks a bunch
PCB has Rolling Thunder (Harley’s … bikes twice a year), a Jeep Festival…music (Jazz) festival, hot air balloon festival…my favorite is the Car Show, the Ironman, local qualifying for the Ironman marathon …lots of activities here…including March Madness (Spring Break dubbed “PanaManiac” )…
Honestly, the weather here is kind of all over the place. It’s either very sunny and hot for days straight or there is constant overcast and precipitation.

Southern Vacation Rentals is also a good place to book condos. They are a great management company with lots of quality privately owned beach front condos. Emerald Beach Resort unit# 2125 is super nice & amazing ocean front views. Won’t nickle and dime you either for resort fees or parking.
Venture out is a vacation neighborhood right next to at andrews state park and they have vacation rentals that can have up to 3 bedrooms. Would suggest this spot

Pineapple willies is a great place to eat at we’ve been going there since the 90s and love pineapple willies but I’ve got to say last year we didn’t get to eat there from not enough parking and were we stayed was to far of a walk that’s the only downside to pineapple willies
Recently visited Panama City Beach - if you want to party, it's a good place for that. But for a family vacation, I'd avoid the main stretch. The beach itself is beautiful white sand, and just perhaps the clearest water you will find in the continental US other than the keys, but there is a constant trashy party vibe going on.
Make sure you check out Beach-TV while visiting PCB. This is a great cable channel that highlights all the great restaurant, nightlife, attractions, and outdoor activities to do in Panama City Beach. Very informative and fun to watch. Some of the best businesses on the beach use this channel.

Don't come here. It's not all that cracked up. Wanna deal with traffic that'll take an hour to get to a spot thats 5 mimutes away? wanna deal with constantly being cut off by other tourists on narrow roads that havent been repaired in years? or what about the remaining hurricane Michael damage? that's visible all across town. Panama City Beach is a shell of it's former glory. I've lived here for 27 years. This city is worthless to come to at this point unless you just wanna get drunk and fall off a balcony. Us locals literally make bets on how many idiots will serve themselves flat on the pavement every single year for spring break. Yes, we need economy BUT, we need to focus on what needs to be repaired and built upon before just trying to become a tourist trap again. can't be a tourist destination looking like a compost heap.
on top of having just a few small spots where it's ok to even bring your pet onto the beach and alcohol laws put into place BECAUSE of tourists, it's insanely pointless. it might be fun if you wanna ride a go-kart for 15 minutes or play a round of putt-putt. that's literally it. i guess there's a Red Robin too. whoo..

I was there in the late 80s and went to the pier all the time. No Ferris wheel. No charges. Just pure beach and pier. With a great parking area.

At spring break months only! Not lately either. They've moved on due to our new ordinance no drinking on the sandy beach in March

Out of those you mentioned I’d go south to Clearwater and Siesta Key.
