Hi Mark, you are absolutely correct. I made the video and after reading your comment I reviewed the video. I will be more careful in future videos. Thanks for catching that. I am sure you are not the only one that felt that way.
He is quoting from the Blum instruction sheet. It gives other measurements in both metric and fractions but only metric for the 42mm width deduction. You need to convert that yourself which is pretty easy. 42mm = 1 21/32".
I am glad I found this video and the comments. In following up on Mark saying his sheet showed the inside width deduction in fractions, (the copy I have been using doesn’t; I downloaded it from Rockler), I went to the Blum site www.blum.com/file/tdmbmn563h._ma_dok_bus?country=us&language=en And sure enough, it lists the conversion in the notes under the drawer width diagram. Thanks guys!
Awesome explanation! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
5/8", 1/2" then you give us mm to calculate the drawer width. What a terrible explanation
Here you go :) www.rapidtables.com/convert/length/mm-to-inch.html

@@Alan_1 the instruction sheet I have is in inches. No conversion needed.
