Sadly in 2017 the lead singer Jonghyun died due to suicide after battling severe depression for years. Checkout Shinee’s recent comeback Don’t Call Me, Atlantis and Marry Me. I point out Taemin because in kpop he’s considered a top soloists (debuted as a soloist in 2014), he’s an amazing performer, unique vocals, considered one of the best or even the best dancer in kpop and he follows his own artistry. At 11 yrs old he saw Michael Jackson and he was hooked to dancing, so he self taught popping and locking. He has total control of every muscle in his body and his movements are also fluid (you’ll see). There's no other music industry like kpop. I love how it combines so many different instruments, production techniques, dances, and even languages from across the world. The craftsmanship of both the music and the videos is unmatched by anything else in my opinion. Of course that music is then recorded and performed by incredibly talented and attractive artists, making the whole thing just amazing. I think NCT is the biggest group now since their concept is supposed to be rotational, they're 23 for now and the number's still growing (on their debut everyone was saying they were supposed to be 40 lol). But most groups don't have more than 13 members, at least from what I've seen. Can you check out Stray Kids' Thunderous too? It's lit.
