I was thinking the same thing here in 2022. After playing Luminescent and watching things like Grand Poo World 2 and Send Your Regrets to the Czar, the OG kaizo levels are not as intimidating.

You need to hit the spin jump button for two frames or less. this makes it 1/30 of a second and it is difficult to do. some runners use a different approach to handle their controller compared to the rest of gameplay(for example: hold the controller differently or use another finger to hit the button)
This is so weird. Like... The overworld just gives you 100 lives. There's no infinite lives infinite saves like modern Kaizo hacks. Also there are no OIs.
That's pretty weird because the version I downloaded(English version) off of smw central only gives you 5 lives. I'm playing on a snes classic so maybe its bugged
I know he has a lot of practice, but anyone who has played Kaizo mario knows how much of a joke Bowser's castle is. I beat it first try, after all you been trhough it to get there, is child's play

I remember watching this thinking it was so impossibly difficult at the time. Now I see Grand Poo World 2 and it's so infinitely harder.
GPW 2 is harder but more fair. There aren't 1-frame jumps depending on RNG in GPW2 like there are in this game.
