My suggestion is to set a reminder to re-charge it like every 4/6 months, to ensure it isn't dead when you really need it. I'm getting one for every driver in my family for Christmas!

I have a '85 EL Camino with the same problem, the battery drains when it sits. But mine doesn't just drain it to where it needs a jump. It totally kills the battery. Some damn open circuit somewhere. Those are a pain in the ass to find, but this one is a nightmare.💀
